Habs lose 4-3 to Jets in OT after thrilling comeback | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 29
The Montreal Canadiens would play in Winnipeg to end a 6-game away stretch and would end up losing to the Winnipeg Jets 4-3. The Habs went down early as Blake Wheeler scored 50 seconds into the game, and Kyle Connor would give the Jets a 2-0 lead after the 1st. Phillip Danault would score his 2nd of the year to make it 2-1 before Kyle Connor would get his 2nd of the game for a 3-1 lead heading into the 3rd period. In said 3rd period there would be a big spark for the Canadiens as Brendan Gallagher would score before Tyler Toffoli got his 18th of the year to tie the game with the empty net. In overtime however it wouldn't take long for Nikolaj Ehlers to give the Jets the win, leaving the Canadiens cuckolded with an 0-8 record in overtime this season. With this loss the Habs are now 13-8-8 for 34 points on the season, currently holding 4th in the North Division. Habs beat the Jets 4-2 in thrilling game | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 28
The Montreal Canadiens were in Winnipeg tonight to play the Jets and would end up beating them by a score of 4-2. Jesperi Kotkaniemi would open the scoring in the 1st period. The 2nd period would bring Josh Anderson giving us a 2-0 lead for the Habs before Kyle Connor would shorten the lead with a powerplay goal but Tyler Toffoli would restore the 2 goal lead with under a minute to go. In the 3rd and final period Kyle Connor would score his 2nd powerplay goal of the game but Tyler Toffoli would put home the empty net goal for his 17th goal of the season. With this win the Canadiens are now 13-8-7 with 33 points on the season also snapping a 2-game losing streak in the process. Habs get dominated by the Flames and lose 2-1 | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 26
The Montreal Canadiens would play the Calgary Flames in the Saddledome tonight but would end up losing in a game that was much closer than it deserved to be. Josh Leivo would open the scoring in the 2nd period with both Flames goals, but after a Milan Lucic and Josh Anderson fight, Corey Perry would score the only goal in the 3rd period for the Canadiens as the Flames expose the Habs' style of play in Darryl Sutter's first game back behind the Flames' bench to lead them to a 2-1 victory against the Habs. Habs destroy the Winnipeg Jets with 7-1 victory | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 23
The Montreal Canadiens played at home tonight against the Winnipeg Jets and would finally beat them in regulation! Josh Anderson would return to the lineup tonight and opened the scoring in the 1st period. In the 2nd period the flood gates would be open as Tyler Toffoli scored followed by a pair from Brendan Gallagher and Joel Armia all scoring to make it a 5-0 game. In the 3rd it would be Paul Byron and Jeff Petry extending the lead to 7 before Mathieu Perreault would ruin the shutout of Carey Price to make the final score 7-1 Canadiens. The Montreal Canadiens tonight played their 2nd game of the year against the Winnipeg Jets and would lose 2-1 in overtime despite outshooting the Winnipeg Jets heavily 42-20 over all 4 periods. Adam Lowry would open the scoring for the Winnipeg Jets but a fluky goal by Nick Suzuki would tie the game up in the 2nd period. No scoring would occur in the 3rd period but in overtime Paul Stastny would get the game-winner less than a minute into overtime. The Montreal Canadiens played the Winnipeg Jets tonight and would lose 6-3 after blowing a 3-1 lead. Joel Armia would score the first and second goals of the game before Kyle Connor scored to make it 2-1. Tomas Tatar would score the Canadiens' first PP goal in 9 games to make it 3-1 but Kyle Connor would score his 2nd of the game then Blake Wheeler makes it a 3-3 tie before the Jets would go off in the 3rd period scoring from former Hab Nate Thompson, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and someone else for the empty netter and Habs lose 6-3. The Monteal Canadiens played in Ottawa at the Canadian Tire Centre tonight and would lose to the Ottawa Senators 3-2 in overtime. Jake Allen would perform out of his mind and be rewarded by a loss.
