Joel Armia would score the first and second goals of the game before Kyle Connor scored to make it 2-1. Tomas Tatar would score the Canadiens' first PP goal in 9 games to make it 3-1 but Kyle Connor would score his 2nd of the game then Blake Wheeler makes it a 3-3 tie before the Jets would go off in the 3rd period scoring from former Hab Nate Thompson, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and someone else for the empty netter and Habs lose 6-3.
