The Montreal Canadiens would play the Calgary Flames in the Saddledome tonight but would end up losing in a game that was much closer than it deserved to be. Josh Leivo would open the scoring in the 2nd period with both Flames goals, but after a Milan Lucic and Josh Anderson fight, Corey Perry would score the only goal in the 3rd period for the Canadiens as the Flames expose the Habs' style of play in Darryl Sutter's first game back behind the Flames' bench to lead them to a 2-1 victory against the Habs. With this loss the Canadiens are now 12-7-7 with 31 points on the season.
