After being invited to bat, in-form Lahore Qalandars handed a 183-run target to unbeaten Multan Sultans, but the Mohammad Rizwan-led side could not live up to the situation as they were defeated by 52 runs. Lahore Qalandars' bowling attack shined against Multan Sultans as they managed to bowl out the defending champions for 130. 20-year-old Zaman Khan claimed three wickets and gave away only 21 runs in 3.3 overs. Skipper Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Rashid Khan took two wickets each to dismantle Multan Sultans batting line-up. Rashid Khan took two crucial wickets of Mohammad Rizwan and Rilee Rossouw. With the win, Lahore Qalandars have moved to second position in the table. Qalandars' Fakhar Zaman had lit the Gaddafi Stadium with his exceptional knock against table-toppers Multan Sultans, scoring a quick 37-ball 60 runs. Kamran Ghulam and Muhammad Hafeez played two spectacular knocks to help the Qalandars set a big total of 183 runs for Multan Sultans. Phil Salt also scored a blistering 13-ball 26. Multan Sultans did quite a decent job but could not properly dismantle the Qalandars batting order. It should be noted that this is the second time that the two sides faced each other in this year's PSL, with Sultans toppling Qalandars when they first met in Karachi. Despite anxiety among players relating to safety concerns for the tour, all of Australia’s biggest stars have been named in an 18-player squad released on Tuesday morning. But the Australian Cricketers Association said there could be some players who will withdraw from Australia’s first tour of Pakistan in 24 years. There were no surprises in the touring party, with Western Australia speedster Jhye Richardson the only player missing from the 15 who destroyed England 4-0 in the Ashes. Richardson, who suffered a foot injury in the Adelaide Test, has been left out to manage his long-term welfare. Pakistan and Namibia will face each other for the first time in T20Is. Namibia will face their sternest test yet against Pakistan, who have been unstoppable so far in the Super 12 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021. Unbeaten in the T20 World Cup so far, Pakistan have gone from dark horses for the tournament to one of the strong favourites in just three games. While bowling has historically been Pakistan's strong suit, the team's batting, led from the front by captain Babar Azam, has bailed them out of trouble twice in the last two games. Namibia, on the other hand, come into this game on the back of their first loss in the Super 12 to Afghanistan. While it was expected that the Eagles would find it difficult to deal with the spinners in Afghanistan's ranks, Namibia were done by the pacers who claimed seven of the nine wickets that fell. If Namibia have to challenge the in-form Pakistan team, Wiese has to continue his recent form. He has scored 142 runs and chipped in with four wickets in five matches played in the T20 World Cup so far. His wealth of experience (272 T20 matches) in the format certainly makes him a must-have player in the fantasy team. Ladder situation Pakistan can virtually seal a spot in the semi-finals with a win over Namibia.
