Paul Pogba emerges as major target for Saudi Pro League
Paul Pogba emerges as major target for Saudi Pro League

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is the latest blockbuster target for Saudi Arabia's Pro League, sources have told . Karim Benzema left Real Madrid to join Al Ittihad on Tuesday on a three-year deal and N'Golo Kante is close to joining him, and there's expected to be a wave of big-name players who follow their lead by joining Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East - he made the high-profile switch at the beginning of 2023. Chiefs in Saudi Arabia want to add more of Europe's elite talent to their ranks and sources have confirmed to that Pogba is firmly on their radar. The 30-year-old has endured an injury and controversy-riddled campaign following his return to Juventus last summer from Manchester United. The Frenchman started just one Serie A game last season, while he was dropped from Juventus' squad for their Europa League knockout tie with Freiburg because of disciplinary issues' earlier in the year. Despite his struggles Pogba has insisted that he wants to remain in Turin and prove his worth, but Juve themselves have endured a tumultuous campaign beset with off-field controversies. Those ultimately spilled out on to the field in the form of a ten-point deduction for financial irregularities. Juventus are now looking at a potential rebuild this summer - they will play in the Europa Conference League qualifiers next year after missing out on Champions League and Europa League football - and that could lead to the potential departure of Pogba, who is one of their highest earners. The opportunity to offload Pogba to Saudi Arabia may prove to be tempting for Juve, while a potential transfer would be another significant coup for the Pro League. All of the big-name signings secured so far have been free transfers but with the nation's Public Investment Fund (PIF), who also own Newcastle United, pumping funds into the Pro League's top four clubs - Al Ittihad, Al Ahli, Al Nassr and Al Hilal - they will have no issues in paying substantial fees for any future targets. Benzema has moved to Saudi Arabia on a deal worth in excess of £250,000-a-day without tax - Kante will follow suit when he officially puts pen to paper - and Pogba can expect a similar pay day should he end up making the move to the Middle East. #PaulPogba #SaudiProLeague #KarimBenzema #AlIttihad #NGoloKante #CristianoRonaldo #Juventus #OffFieldControversies #PotentialRebuild #PublicInvestmentFund #FootballTransfers #MiddleEastFootball #EuropaConferenceLeague #FootballNews #FootballUpdates #FootballRumors #FootballGossip #FootballCommunity #FootballFans #FootballAnalysis #FootballOpinions #FootballDiscussion #YoutubeFootball #FootballContent #FootballHighlights #FootballVideos

Kylian Mbappe expected to join Real Madrid despite PSG offering to double his wages

► Subscribe to Sky Sports News: http://bit.ly/SkySportsNewsSub Paris Saint-Germain are exhausting every avenue to retain Kylian Mbappe, but the expectation is he will soon confirm his decision to become Real Madrid's marquee signing. The French champions have offered the 23-year-old a pay package understood to be double his current terms and around £4m a month, making him the highest earner in the game. An extension would also secure a mammoth signing-on figure in the region of £100m, and includes concessions over image rights as well as bonuses for goals, Ballon d'Or honours, and Champions League success. #SkySportsNews #SkySports #KylianMbappe ► For the latest developments on this story: https://qrcode.skysports.com/skysports/topstories More from Sky Sports on YouTube: ► Sky Sports Retro: http://bit.ly/SkySportsRetroSub ► Sky Sports: http://bit.ly/SkySportsSub ► Sky Sports Football: http://bit.ly/SSFootballSub ► Sky Sports Boxing: http://bit.ly/SSBoxingSub ► Sky Sports F1: http://bit.ly/SubscribeSkyF1 ► Sky Sports Cricket: http://bit.ly/SubscribeSkyCricket ► Sky Sports Golf: https://bit.ly/SubscribeSkySportsGolf ► To enquire about licensing Sky Sports News content, you can find out more here: https://www.skysports.com/more-sports/news/31754/11434270/license-sky-sports-footage

TOTTENHAM TRANSFER TAKEAWAYS
TOTTENHAM TRANSFER TAKEAWAYS

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/12515202/tottenham-transfers-tanguy-ndombele-and-dele-alli-exits-adama-traore-through-the-door Chelsea are the biggest earners from match-going fans in the Premier League making more than £1,600 in tickets, merchandise and food and drink from every supporter at Stamford Bridge each season, according to a new analysis for Sportsmail. The study by the University of Liverpool reveals a huge disparity in what top flight teams take on match days, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs all making more than £1,500 per fan each season. Manchester United earn £1,488, but remarkably they now make only £43 more per fan from match day than they did 10 years ago, while Manchester City take around £1,000 per fan despite huge growth over the decade as their commercial operation catches up with their on-field success. As a result, the biggest clubs are working hard on how to bring in money from more expensive tickets and additional hospitality. At the same time, fans are complaining about the price of tickets, with more than half responding to a Football Supporters’’ Association survey last month saying the cost of the match is now prohibitive. ‘Clubs like Arsenal and Spurs, which have Supporters’ 60,000-capacity stadiums are charging an arm and leg for fans to watch,’ Kieran Maguire, football finance expert at the University of Liverpool, told Sportsmail. ‘Chelsea is heading to a £4,000 season ticket next year. The prices are steep, but people are willing to pay them, they are prepared to stump up. ‘Some clubs, especially the London clubs, have a fan base that is more diverse in terms of wealth.’ Interestingly, Tottenham Hotspur have almost doubled their matchday income prior to moving onto their new stadium and during a period in which they were based at Wembley Stadium for two seasons. Spurs' future matchday income is expected to take off following the opening of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which has unrivaled food and drinks facilities, as well as a range of premium seating.
