Montreal Canadiens win 5-2 against Toronto Maple Leafs | Habs 2021-22 Pre-Season Recap | Episode 2
The Montreal Canadiens played tonight at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs and would end up winning a big rebound game 5-2 in regulation! In the 1st period Josh Anderson would score on the Powerplay before Christian Dvorak scored his 1st as a Canadien also on the Powerplay for a 2-0 lead. Michael Pezzetta would get a 3-0 lead for the Habs in the 2nd period before Kevin Poulin would give the puck right to David Kampf for the 3-1 lead.Josh Anderson would nab his 2nd goal of the game on the Powerplay and Ondrej Kase would also score near the end of the 2nd for a 4-2 lead heading into the 3rd period. In said 3rd period the only goal would be Michael Pezzetta's 2nd of the night into an empty net stealing Josh Anderson's hat trick goal from him, leading to the 5-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs! Canadiens lose 4-1 to Maple Leafs | Habs 2021-22 Pre-Season Recap | Episode 1
The Monreal Canadiens would play in Toronto tonight against the Maple Leafs, and would end up losing in a 4-1 effort. Jake Muzzin made it 1-0 Leafs in the 1st period before John Tavares and Michael Bunting would give the Leafs a 3-0 lead, with Kurtis Gabriel adding a 4th in the 3rd after Michael McNiven mis-played the puck but Tyler Toffoli would break the shutout with the 4-1 goal to end the game. Habs defeat the Maple Leafs 3-2 in overtime to force Game 7 | Habs 2020-21 Playoffs | Episode 6
The Montreal Canadiens played at home tonight with 2,500 in attendance against the Toronto Maple Leafs and would end up beating them 3-2 in overtime after an intense back and forth game. After a fun and heavy-hitting 1st period and slow but intense 2nd period, the 3rd period would open right up with Habs' power-play goals from Corey Perry and Tyler Toffoli would give the Habs a 2-0 lead but Jason Spezza and T.J. Brodie would tie the game up with 5 minutes left. In overtime it would be a Leafs dominated period but with some bad puck luck Jesperi Kotkaniemi would get the 3-2 lead for the Habs and force a Game 7 with the series now tied 3-3 headed back to Toronto!! Canadiens lose to Maple Leafs 5-1 due to bad officiating & play | Habs 2020-21 Playoffs | Episode 2
The Montreal Canadiens played Game 2 of the 1st round series in the 2021 NHL Playoffs against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and would end up losing by a final score of 5-1. Jesperi Kotkaniemi would score the 1st goal of the game to give the Canadiens a 1-0 lead but Jason Spezza would tie the game up heading into the 2nd period. In said 2nd period with 4 (very unfair) power-plays for the Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews and Rasmus Sandin would end up scoring for the 3-1 Leafs lead into the 3rd. William Nylander would get the 2013 Bruins lead and Alex Kerfoot would seal the deal with an empty netter, following 1 PP for the Habs and 6 for the Maple Leafs. With this loss tonight the Montreal Canadiens are now tied in this series 1-1 with the Leafs headed back to the Bell Centre for Games 3 and 4. Habs lose to the Oilers 4-3 in OT, Caufield's 4th career goal | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 56
The Montreal Canadiens would wrap up their season today at home in the Bell Centre with a loss in overtime to the Edmonton Oilers with a final score of 4-3. Cole Caufield would open the scoring just a few minutes into the game before Alex Chiasson would tie the game up. Nick Suzuki would give the Canadiens a 2-1 lead but Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score on the power-play for the 2-2 lead heading into the 2nd period. In said 2nd period the only goal would be scored by the Oilers from Leon Draisital. In the 3rd period off a turnover the lone goal would be Nick Suzuki's 2nd of the game and would earn Cole Caufield his first career NHL assist and first career 2-point game! However it wouldn't take long into overtime until Dominik Kahun would end it, just 27 seconds and it was over. With this loss the Montreal Canadiens finish their season with a 24-21-11 record with 59 points as they finish 4th in the North Division and will take on the potential President's Trophy winning Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the 2021 NHL Playoffs. Habs lose 4-3 to Oilers in OT, CLINCH PLAYOFF SPOT due to Byron | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 55
The Montreal Canadiens would play at home tonight but would lose to the Edmonton Oilers after coming back twice in the game! Jake Evans would give the Canadiens the 1-0 lead but James Neal 20 seconds later made it 1-1 and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would give the Oilers a 2-1 lead heading into the 2nd period. In said period Paul Byron would tie the game 2-2 but Dominik Kahun scores for the 3-2 Oilers lead into the 3rd period. Artturi Lehkonen scores the lone goal in the period for the 3-3 tie and the Oilers would let time run out for the Habs to get the only point they need to clinch a playoff berth in the 2020-2021 Playoffs, then in overtime who cares that McDavid scores, THE MONTREAL CANADIENS CLINCH A PLAYOFF SPOT!! The Montreal Canadiens would play in Toronto tonight to face the Maple Leafs and would end up losing by a final score of 5-2 in a game that could have helped them clinch a playoff berth. Alex Galchenyuk opened the scoring 16 seconds into the game, John Tavares makes it 2-0 shortly afterwards, Pierre Engvall with a softie on Primeau, and Mitch Marner would end Cayden Primeau's night with a 4-0 lead in the first period. Canadiens lose 5-1 to the Senators with embarrassing performance | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 52
The Montreal Canadiens would play in Ottawa tonight and would lose to the Ottawa Senators by a final score of 5-1. Shane Pinto would score his 1st NHL goal to give the Senators a 1-0 lead but Joel Edmundson would score the Canadiens' only goal of the game tying it up late in the 1st.
