Canadiens lose 5-1 to the Senators with embarrassing performance | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 52

The Montreal Canadiens would play in Ottawa tonight and would lose to the Ottawa Senators by a final score of 5-1. Shane Pinto would score his 1st NHL goal to give the Senators a 1-0 lead but Joel Edmundson would score the Canadiens' only goal of the game tying it up late in the 1st. Brady Tkachuk would make it 2-1 then with 7 seconds left Nick Paul would score to make it 3-1 heading into the 3rd period. In said 3rd period it would be Connor Brown and Alex Formenton scoring for the 5-1 lead to embarrass the Montreal Canadiens tonight. With this loss the Habs are now 24-19-9 with 57 points to hold onto 4th in the North Division after the Winnipeg Jets beat the Calgary Flames.
