Canadiens lose to Maple Leafs 5-1 due to bad officiating & play | Habs 2020-21 Playoffs | Episode 2

The Montreal Canadiens played Game 2 of the 1st round series in the 2021 NHL Playoffs against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and would end up losing by a final score of 5-1. Jesperi Kotkaniemi would score the 1st goal of the game to give the Canadiens a 1-0 lead but Jason Spezza would tie the game up heading into the 2nd period. In said 2nd period with 4 (very unfair) power-plays for the Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews and Rasmus Sandin would end up scoring for the 3-1 Leafs lead into the 3rd. William Nylander would get the 2013 Bruins lead and Alex Kerfoot would seal the deal with an empty netter, following 1 PP for the Habs and 6 for the Maple Leafs. With this loss tonight the Montreal Canadiens are now tied in this series 1-1 with the Leafs headed back to the Bell Centre for Games 3 and 4.
