Habs lose 4-3 to Oilers in OT, CLINCH PLAYOFF SPOT due to Byron | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 55

The Montreal Canadiens would play at home tonight but would lose to the Edmonton Oilers after coming back twice in the game! Jake Evans would give the Canadiens the 1-0 lead but James Neal 20 seconds later made it 1-1 and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would give the Oilers a 2-1 lead heading into the 2nd period. In said period Paul Byron would tie the game 2-2 but Dominik Kahun scores for the 3-2 Oilers lead into the 3rd period. Artturi Lehkonen scores the lone goal in the period for the 3-3 tie and the Oilers would let time run out for the Habs to get the only point they need to clinch a playoff berth in the 2020-2021 Playoffs, then in overtime who cares that McDavid scores, THE MONTREAL CANADIENS CLINCH A PLAYOFF SPOT!! With this loss the Montreal Canadiens are now 24-21-10 with 58 points in the North Division holding onto 4th place making sure they make the playoffs!
