Novak Djokovic will bounce the ball with his racket, then with his hand. Rafael Nadal will usually pull his shorts and the sleeves around his shoulders, then touch his nose and tuck his hair behind his ears. All very distinct routines. But there’s one tennis ritual nearly every pro tennis player does: choosing a specific tennis ball. A common belief among players is that the ball they choose can help them win. But there’s real physics at play behind this ritual — and It all comes down to the fuzz. For a faster serve, players try to find a compact ball. For a slower serve, they feel for more fuzz. The idea is that a fluffier ball is more likely to be slowed by drag as it travels through the air — and that choosing the right level of fuzz can help the serving player defeat their opponent. Sì alle misure restrittive se servono ad evitarne di peggiori, "ma basta col terrore". Il Leader della Lega è chiaro sulla sua linea a 'Lavori in Corso', dove oltre a una maggior considerazione, chiede al Governo misure economiche nette in caso di nuovo lockdown a favore dei privati: "Non come a marzo o aprile". L'intervista ai microfoni di Stefano Molinari e Luigia Luciani. "#Lockdown? Spero proprio di no. Le cose vanno fatte con buonsenso, con prudenza e in base ad atti scientifici, non a sensazioni. In questo momento ci sono migliaia di contagi, il che non vuol dire che ci sono migliaia di ammalati e io continuo nelle grandi televisioni nazionali a fare chiarezza, perché se vai avanti per mesi a far terrorismo e #disinformazione... contagiato non è malato, e soprattutto i numeri dei ricoveri nelle terapie intensive, per fortuna ad oggi ci dicono che la situazione è profondamente diversa rispetto allo scorso inverno. Cautela sì, evitare spostamenti di massa, ma il problema non sono gli aperitivi o le palestre, ma i trasporti. Vedo già ipotizzare Il lockdown di Natale: è un danno inutile e anticipato economico-sociale e culturale devastante. Se si deve fare si fa, ma non è possibile preannunciare, suggestionare o terrorizzare. Mi rifiuto di pensare ad oggi a chiusure generalizzare di milioni di persone in casa. Sarebbe veramente drammatico. Da mesi il massimo è la telefonata di trenta secondi prima di andare in diretta con #Casalino. Quindi il massimo della collaborazione è un colpo di telefono per dire "guarda, sto andando alla tele". A quel punto evita di chiamarmi, accendo la tele due minuti dopo e ti ascolto in diretta. Se ci sono sacrifici limitati per evitarne altri più grandi bene, ma attenzione perché anche all'interno della stessa comunità scientifica, persone come #Zangrillo e #Bassetti ribadiscono che bisogna vere cautela e indossare la mascherina, ma senza terrorizzare e criminalizzare. A differenza di quanto accaduto a marzo-aprile noi pretendiamo dal #Governo coperture economiche totali per tutti coloro che son coinvolti in queste limitazioni e chiusure. Perché fidarsi è bene, non fidarsi è meglio: c'è ancora chi aspetta la cassa integrazione. Nessuno prende sotto gamba, ci mancherebbe altro. Ci sono decine di morti, #medici e #infermieri in corsia e farmacisti che hanno dato la vita. Se però facciamo finta che non ci sia tutto il resto commettiamo un errore e terrorizziamo 60 milioni di italiani, è chiaro che c'è l'allarme generalizzato che porta a un problema di sovraffollamento non legato al Covid ma alla corsa in ospedale. La cura non deve essere peggiore del male. L'allarme economico rischia di fare gli stessi danni se non più danni del problema sanitario. Rabbia sociale? Penso a un dramma già in corso come quello dell'#usura e del racket. Se vai in banca e non ti danno quello che Conte aveva promesso in televisione, evidentemente questo vale per tutte le città da Roma a Milano, da Venezia a Catania: chi ti dà i soldi in contanti se sei con l'acqua alla gola?"
