Coach Zach Spiker (Drexel University) discusses his win over LaSalle University on 11/17/18, what went well, coaching against Drexel Alum. Ashley Howard, and more!
Troy Harper Jr. and Alihan Demir both showed up big for Drexel University in their win over the LaSalle Explorers. Harper was all down hill driving to the basket, did a great job at getting to the foul line and sank an impressive 14/16 free throws. Alihan made himself comfortable in the paint and was hard to handle within 10min left in the game scoring several buckets inside. The Dragons look to keep this momentum going and definitely have a good level of confidence from their performance vs LaSalle.
Big Star & Raw Sports was on hand at the LaSalle vs Drexel game that took place 11/17/18. During the press conference with Coach Ashley Howard, the theme and message he wanted his guys to embody was "Keep Getting Better". LaSalle University will definitely get their first win this season, until then Coach Ash and his players will continue to grow and learn through this experience of adversity early on. Anyone who know's about adversity, knows that some of the most powerful testimonies were birthed out of those experiences. This journey is just beginning at LaSalle University for Coach Ash and his staff, and the Explorers will be successful. With a solid group of players, and big time high school recruits on the horizon, it's only a matter of time before LaSalle University is the talk of the City. Stay Tuned and remember where you heard it first. Raw Sports!
Back in early June my girlfriend and I went to a fundraiser for her cousins daughter and won Cubs tickets in the raffle. We took the Metra Rock Island from New Lenox, IL to LaSalle Street Station in Chicago and took the CTA Red Line from Jackson and State to Addison which is the Wrigley Field stop. Much of the ride to Chicago is featured with stops in Mokena, Mokena-Hickory Creek, Tinley Park 80th Av, Tinley Park Oak Park Ave, Oak Forest, Midlothian, Blue Island, and 35th Street (White Sox). Unfortunately I couldn't get the CTA ride as it was full and we were standing. Plenty of shots around Wrigley Field for the Cubs vs Reds with the Cubs winning 7-1 and Cole Hamels pitching a complete game. I will add more information later when I have time. Enjoy and don't forget to comment and subscribe!!
