The Dallas Cowboys suffered yet another tough loss, falling to the New England Patriots 13-9. Jason Garrett chose to kick a field goal on 4th down with 6 minutes remaining, costing the Cowboys the game and putting Garrett back on the hot seat. Who’s more to blame for the loss to the Pats: Jason Garrett or Kellen Moore? Tom Downey talks Garrett replacements, the Cowboys path to the playoffs and looks ahead to the Bills. Jason Garrett’s hot seat is hotter than ever, but could we see the Cowboys fire Garrett mid-season? Likely not. But the same cannot be said for special teams coach Kevin O’Quinn. 49ers Grades vs. Packers: Jimmy Garoppolo, Nick Bosa & George Kittle In Niners 37-8 Win
San Francisco 49ers grades for their 37-8 win over the Green Bay Packers begin with the offense which did exactly what it needed to do to win. This game was all about the defense, however, Jimmy Garoppolo still had a great day through the air. He was efficient and kept the chains moving when he needed to. The running game also found its stride as they got back to rushing for over 100 yards as a team. Thomas Mott hands out his grades for the Week 12 win. George Kittle played for the first time in a couple of weeks and was dominant as ever. Great in run blocking but also the leading receiver on this team, despite having chipped bones in his ankle. Kittle finished the day with 6 catches for 129 yards and a long play-action touchdown from Jimmy G. Great to have Kittle back in this offense. They held Aaron Rodgers to only 8 points and forced the worst offensive performance from the Packers all season. Nick Bosa and friends dominated the line of scrimmage while Richard Sherman and company held down the back side. Devonte Adams only had 43 yards receiving and when lined-up against Sherman, Adams was limited to 1 reception for 7 yards. Cowboys Grades For Jason Garrett, Special Teams, Dak Prescott, Zeke vs. Patriots In Week 12
Dallas Cowboys grades from bad 13-9 loss to the New England Patriots focus on Special Teams coach Keith O’Quinn, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and most importantly Jason Garrett. The Cowboys news on those players and coaches is mostly negative, which is the only way to feel after the Cowboys coaching staff killed the Cowboys again. Dak Prescott was middling in this contest, as the conservative passing and bad weather did not help him. He was 19 of 33 for 212 yards with one INT. Amari Cooper was a no-show, with zero catches. Jason Witten sucked too. Ezekiel Elliott was okay overall; better early, but struggling later. He had 21 carries for 86 yards. But the real problem lies with the coaching staff. Special Teams was terrible AGAIN this week and that lies on the shoulders of Keith O’Quinn and head coach Jason Garrett. Enough is enough, both of those two have simply got to go. Raiders Grades On Derek Carr, Defense, Jon Gruden, Josh Jacobs & Refs vs. Jets NFL Week 12
Raiders grades after Oakland’s 34-3 loss against the Jets in NFL Week 12. The Raiders scored first and then it was all Jets from there on out. This was the worst game of the season by the Oakland Raiders and hopefully it’s a wake up call. Chat Sports’ Mitchell Renz host of the Raiders Report breaks down his Raiders Week 12 grades against the Jets and WARNING - there are a TON of F’s. Oakland simply didn’t show up and the blame will of course go to Jon Gruden and defensive coordinator Paul Guenther after allowing 34 points to the Jets. The offense was also terrible as Derek Carr threw a pick 6, Josh Jacobs only had 34 rushing yards and Darren Waller, Tyrell Williams, and Hunter Renfrow didn’t help either with their drops. The refs weren’t the reason the Raiders lost by any means but another road game for Oakland led to another horrible officiating game early on.
