Raiders Grades On Defense vs. Chargers: Clelin Ferrell, Erik Harris, Benson Mayowa & Karl Joseph
The Oakland Raiders defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 26-24 in week 10 of the 2019 NFL season thanks to the defense so Chat Sports' Mitchell Renz host of the Raiders Report dishes out his Raiders Grades. Erik Harris was the player of the game with two interceptions. He would have had a hat trick if it wasn’t for a penalty, but nonetheless, Harris showed out. Clelin Ferrell had his breakout game as a rookie with 8 tackles & 2.5 sacks on Philip Rivers. Benson Mayowa also contributed with 1.5 sacks in key moments during the game. Karl Joseph had the game winning interception on the Chargers’ final drive of the game, sealing the victory for the Raiders. Joseph would have had two interceptions if it wasn’t for a penalty early in the game. Tarih Whitehead was all over the place for the Raiders’ D, he had 14 tackles in the big win that put the Raiders in 2nd place in the AFC West & firmly in the AFC playoff race. Maxx Crosby also had an impressive outing, but had a couple of key mistakes that kept him from earning a spot on today’s show. LIKE this video?
