Habs beat Golden Knights 5-4 in shootout | Habs 2019-20 Season | Episode 50 | Regular season
The Montreal Canadiens at home beat the Vegas Golden Knights in what turned out to be an intense Hockey game despite being 3-0 Habs after the 1st period with goals to Nick Cousins, Ilya Kovalchuk, and Joel Armia opening the scoring and after a 3-2 lead in the 3rd period followed with Nick Cousins' 2nd of the night the Knights would tie with 2 minutes left and force overtime then a shootout. In the shootout it's Ilya Kovalchuk and Jonathan Marchessault scoring but Tomas Tatar would get the game-winner for the Canadiens! With this win the Canadiens are now 22-21-7 with 51 points for being tied 5th in the Atlantic Division with the Buffalo Sabres, and tied for 11th in the Eastern Conference. Habs lose 5-4 to Tampa Bay | Habs 2019-20 Season | Episode 38 | Regular season
The Montreal Canadiens go into Tampa Bay and lose to the Lightning 5-4 and going up 2-0 on the scoreboard and 17-0 in the shots just about halfway through the 1st period. In his first game back Kotkaniemi opened up the scoring followed with Max Domi scoring before Price let in 4 awful goals before Ben Chiarot made it 4-3, then with an attempted comeback Jordan Weal would score on the powerplay but the Lightning held on and won the game 5-4. With this loss the Canadiens are now 18-14-6 with 42 points for 5th in the Atlantic Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference.
