The Montreal Canadiens in Philadelphia lose to the Flyers 3-2 after being down 2-0 only for Ben Chiarot and Shea Weber to score tying the game up and sending it to overtime where Carey Price would cost the Canadiens the game by letting a cheap snapshot squeeze through his legs and into the net. With this embarrassing overtime loss the Canadiens are now 8-5-3 for 19 points with an 8th spot in the Eastern Conference in sight.
