Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson is considered by many to be one of the best MMA fighters of all-time because of his abilities and accolades. While in the UFC Johnson set the promotion's record for consecutive title defenses with 11. But Johnson has revealed over the years that he doesn't actually possess that many belts. Demetrious says he only has three UFC belts. At one time he asked the UFC to take a picture with all of his titles, but after the photoshoot he was unable to travel with all of the belts due to their weight. At UFC 178, Yoel Romero faced Tim Kennedy in a bout between Middleweight contenders. But in the closing seconds of round two Romero was rocked by a fleury from Kennedy. The punches opened a cut on Romero's eyebrow that forced the cutman to use vaseline on the injury. The inspector assigned to Romero's corner and referee Big John McCarthy were unhappy with the cutman's work, causing a delay that unintentionally gave Romero time to recover. Moments later, Romero would defeat Kennedy in the third round. In January 2018, Kamaru Usman faced Emil Meek at a UFC Fight Night event in St. Louis, MO. Usman dominated the fight, but fans were left frustrated by Usman's grappling approach. Kamaru would later say that he was only at "30 Percent" in the fight, but the lack of clarity in that statement confused fans and angered UFC President Dana White. At UFC 203, Stipe Miocic defended his Heavyweight title by first round knockout against Alistair Overeem. But the victory did not come easy, as Overeem rocked Miocic with a punch and then held onto a guillotine choke. In an interview three months after the fight, Overeem says his coaches told him immediately after the bout that Miocic tapped out. Which led to Alistair saying in the octagon interview with Joe Rogan that he felt Stipe tap while the submission was on.
