GP Japón F1 2022 - Verstappen, bicampeón por un reglamento mal escrito | El vlog post-carrera
El Gran Premio de Japón 2022 de Fórmula 1 mostró, una vez más, la cara y la cruz de este deporte. Mientras los pilotos brillaban ante unas condiciones adversas en el circuito de Suzuka, la FIA volvía a cubrirse de gloria. Otro hat-trick de la federación: poniendo en riesgo la vida de los pilotos al lanzar de forma imprudente una grúa a la pista, causando dudas entre todos los equipos por el procedimiento de la última vuelta y, más tarde, coronando a Max Verstappen como campeón del mundo ante la incredulidad de todo el mundo incluyendo al propio neerlandés. Un bochorno. Verstappen merecía el Mundial, pero no de esta manera. Merecía una buena celebración. Merecía disfrutar ante el público de Honda. Y lo que vimos fue algo que evidenció una vez más las absurdeces que uno se puede encontrar en el reglamento deportivo. Fue legal, sí, pero surrealista. Por lo demás, Checo Pérez logró desestabilizar a un Charles Leclerc que falló en la última vuelta del Gran Premio y que terminó derivando en una sanción de 5 segundos que, sin él saberlo, le iba a dar el Mundial a Super Max. Por detrás, Sebastian Vettel y Fernando Alonso protagonizaban una batalla espectacular que hace que valga la pena todo este espectáculo con un paralelo que sólo pudimos disfrutar viendo onboards al final de la prueba. Pero todo lo que vimos quedó ensombrecido por la ineptitud de los directores de carrera al sacar una grúa que hizo rabiar a toda la parrilla. Kees van de Grint over wereldtitel Max Verstappen: “Deze man is ongeëvenaard”
Afgelopen zondag behaalde Max Verstappen tijdens de Grand Prix van Japan zijn tweede wereldtitel in de Formule 1. Voormalig F1-bandenexpert van Bridgestone Kees van de Grint zag dat Verstappen, ondanks zijn fantastische wagen, echt boven de rest uitstijgt. “De overwinning kwam door het talent, en daarmee uit.” Volgens de Viaplay-analist wordt het succesvolle seizoen van Max Verstappen vooral gekenmerkt door één ding: de dominantie van de 25-jarige coureur. 2022 F1 Japanese GP race analysis by Peter Windsor
It rained in the build-up to the 2022 F1 Japanese GP at Suzuka - but they started nonetheless from the grid, from which Red Bull's Max Verstappen pulled-off the pass of the year into Turn 1/1B; then it rained some more - and several were the first-lap incidents. They adjourned, then, to the pit lane. More rain followed until, eventually, they re-started behind the Safety Car for a 40min sprint. This time Max led from start to finish but, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finishing second, the consecration for the championship seemed destined for Austin. Then came the news that Leclerc had incurred a five-second penalty for gaining an advantage after sliding into the escape road of the chicane on the final lap. Then began the celebrations... How F1 drivers' outrage forced a review into Japanese GP's near-tragedy
“If I hit it, I would be dead right now”. That was Pierre Gasly’s damning assessment of the potential consequences of the FIA allowing a recovery vehicle to be on track during the Japanese Grand Prix. The AlphaTauri driver was horrified to pass the parked truck while catching up with the safety car pack on the second lap of the race at Suzuka. It was an incident that enraged drivers and fans alike, which perhaps explains why the FIA initially seemed keen to brush this off with a statement that appeared to put the focus on Gasly’s driving.
