The SportPesa Premier League 2018 awards was held this evening at the Kenya School of Government in Kabete, Nairobi County.
Formed in 1968, Gor Mahia have grown to become regional club giants with one of their major achievements coming in 1987 when they won the Kenyan league, Domestic Cup and the CAF Cup title. In 2016, Gor Mahia entered the new era of dominance following their landmark partnership with SportPesa. Under this partnership, they became the first winners of SportPesa Cup in Tanzania in 2017. This victory earned them the opportunity to play with English side, Everton FC. On 6th November 2018, they will again make headlines as the first team in East Africa to play against Everton FC for the second time but this time on the Iconic Stadium, Goodison Park. #EFCvGor
