Un nuevo problema en el auto de Verstappen le ha dado vida a un campeonato que ha visto a los perseguidores acercarse y a un nuevo protagonista aparecer en escena… Sainz ha conseguido su primera pole, y la primera victoria de su carrera deportiva en el pasado gran premio de Gran Bretaña… algo que ha representado un choot de confianza importante para este piloto que parece haber resucitado para meterse de lleno en una guerra que aun le quedan muchas batallas… La fiabilidad ha vuelto a hacer de las suyas y esta vez fue verstappen quien recibió una dosis de mala suerte en silverstone, algo que ha acercado a sus antagonistas Perez y Leclerc siendo su compañero de equipo, por ahora, su principal amenaza… a tan solo 34 del liderato que actualmente posee… La expectativa para la próxima fecha es inmensa… y ahora, hay mas interrogantes que nunca ¿Será un Verstappen modo venganza quien arrase en Austria? ¿o perez podrá sobreponerse y acercarse aun más hacia el liderato? ¿Se descontrolará la armonía en el box de Ferrari con dos pilotos que no están dispuestos a dar el brazo a tocer? Pues bien, estamos a casi nada de descubrirlo así que sin mas preámbulo, demos inicio a la decimoprimera cita del calendario… el gran premio de Austria. Met een verlies van slechts zes punten ten opzichte van Charles Leclerc durft F1-commentator Allard Kalff het wel aan om Max Verstappen de grootste winnaar van Silverstone te noemen. Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) ha logrado la primera victoria de su carrera en la Fórmula 1 en Silverstone y España vuelve a subir a lo más alto del podio nueve años después. El madrileño se ha impuesto en una accidentada carrera a 'Checo' Pérez (Red Bull), segundo, y a Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), tercero. En su Gran Premio número 150 consigue la primera victoria de su vida e inscribe su nombre en la historia del automovilismo español como el segundo piloto que hace sonar el himno en la Fórmula 1 desde lo más alto del cajón.
