Zhou Guanyu's terrifying British GP crash and how F1 escaped something worse
Formula 1 narrowly avoided disaster on more than one occasion in the opening moments of the British Grand Prix. Not only did Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu escape unhurt from a terrifying first corner crash, but the resulting red flag saved us from potentially witnessing a tragedy, as it meant protestors that had invaded the track after the start were not encountered by the cars at racing speed. PRIMERA VICTORIA DE SAINZ EN LA F1, PODIO DE CHECO PEREZ | RESUMEN GP GRAN BRETAÑA 2022
Hoy el circuito de Silverstone nos ha regalado una de las mejores carreras de los ultimos años… vaya forma de hacer historia para Carlos Sainz… alzandose con la primera victoria de su carrera deportiva en un gran premio que tuvo de todo… En plena arrancada nos quedamos sin aliento al ver un aparatoso accidente por parte del piloto chino Ganyu Show en un efecto dominó iniciado por pierre gasly que tocó a George Russell y este a su vez impactó con el alfa romeo de Shou que fue el gran afectado en toda esta carambola… En esta caótica largada pilotos como Ocon, Tsunoda y Albon sufrieron daños siendo este ultimo uno de los que tuvo que abandonar de foma inmediata… Todo este drama causó una bandera roja que obligó a relanzar la carrera varios minutos mas tarde… con la particularidad de que este relanzamiento se haria conforme a las posiciones originales de la clasificación, algo que afectaria de sobremanera a Max y Hamilton quienes habian ganado buenas posiciones en el primer arranque… En esta segunda largada tuvimos otra pelea trepidante entre Sainz y Verstappen por el liderato esta vez siendo favorable para el español… Leclerc perdió inicialmente la posición con Pérez, pero pudo recuperarla y volver a adelantarle en la curva 5.
