Florida State Seminoles face rising concerns as turnover-prone quarterbacks threaten to derail their season. Is Ja’Bril Rawls the defensive playmaker who can spark hope for Mike Norvell’s squad? Brian Smith examines the latest scrimmage woes, questioning whether Ashton Daniels or the rest of the quarterback room can overcome spring struggles before week one. Running back depth remains a program strength, with rising stars like Ousmane Kromah and Amari Thomas fueling optimism, but offensive line uncertainties and hardly any intel about the tight end group add to the challenge of understanding the full dynamics of the offense. On defense, Brian Smith spotlights Rawls as the potential catalyst but warns that unless Florida State consistently forces turnovers, marquee matchups against SMU, Alabama, Miami, and Florida could quickly turn disastrous. Can the improved defensive front and linebacker Chris Jones compensate for growing pains under Tony White’s new zone-heavy scheme? With the season’s outlook hinging on quarterback progress and defensive havoc, the pressure is on for the Seminoles to find answers fast. Shock Clock Pod – Week 24: NBA Coaches on the Hot Seat + Lakers Outlook Jose Salviati and Steve Purciello preview Week 24 of Steve’s “13 Rules: Random NBA Thoughts” with a new format ranking NBA coaches on the hot seat. They discuss why Orlando’s Jamahl Mosley is most vulnerable (tension with Paolo Banchero, a 31–0 run allowed, and little improvement after adding Desmond Bane), debate Milwaukee’s Doc Rivers amid a potential rebuild, and cover Toronto’s Darko Rajaković as contracts and expectations rise. They examine Chicago’s Billy Donovan (possible mutual exit, rumored college interest, and roster issues), Washington’s Brian Keefe with the league’s worst defense and upcoming veterans, New Orleans interim James Borrego and front-office direction, and Sacramento’s Doug Christie amid organizational instability. They also assess the Lakers’ injuries, ceiling after being blown out by Oklahoma City, and an offseason retool, and tease a data-based championship predictor to discuss next week. 00:00 Show intro and format 01:40 Coaches on the hot seat 02:18 Orlando Magic Mosley 04:12 Giannis trade tangent 04:42 Milwaukee Bucks Doc 06:30 Ranking first two 07:03 Toronto Raptors Darko 09:00 Chicago Bulls Donovan 11:08 Donovan ranking and Knicks 12:06 Washington Wizards Keefe 14:05 Front Office Pressure 14:43 Pelicans Interim Debate 16:48 Kings Coaching Chaos 18:10 Kings Roster Money Crunch 20:00 Lakers Reality Check 21:10 OKC Blowout Turning Point 23:17 LeBron Aging And Retool 25:28 Analytics Champion Tease 27:34 Wrap Up And Next Week
