Allyson Felix Turned a Setback Into History #femaleathletes #womenempowerment #womeninsports
Olympic champion Allyson Felix took a stand for female athletes after a contract dispute during her pregnancy, choosing not to accept terms that lacked maternity protections. She later partnered with a company that supported athlete parents and also launched her own women's running shoe brand, Saysh. Her advocacy sparked wider discussions across the sports industry and encouraged stronger maternity policies for sponsored athletes. Felix then returned to elite competition, winning more Olympic and World Championship medals and becoming the most decorated athlete in World Athletics Championships history with 14 gold medals, showing that parenthood and sporting success can go hand in hand. #allysonfelix #womeninsports #athletics #trackandfield #olympics #worldathletics #sportshistory #femaleathletes #feminism

Saeed Anwar And Amir Sohail#shorts #cricket #views #vintagecricket #cricketlover #cricketenthusiast
Saeed Anwar and Aamir Sohail are widely regarded as one of Pakistan's most iconic and successful opening partnerships in cricket history, defining the team's top order throughout much of the 1990s. #vintagecricket #cricketlover #cricketenthusiast Key Aspects of Their Partnership * **Legacy:** They are frequently voted by fans and cricket experts as Pakistan's greatest-ever opening pair. Their aggressive, left-handed combination provided explosive starts, which was a hallmark of Pakistan’s limited-overs strategy during that era. * **Playing Style:** Both were naturally aggressive batsmen. While Anwar was often lauded for his elegant off-side play and impeccable timing, Sohail was known for his combative, high-pressure approach at the crease. * **Memorable Moments:** * **1996 Singer Cup:** One of their most famous collective performances occurred during the 1996 Singer Cup against India. Chasing a target of 187 (DLS method) to reach the final, the duo put on a blistering **144-run opening stand**, effectively sealing the match and putting Pakistan in the final. 1996 World Cup Quarter-Final:** They are also famously associated with the 1996 World Cup quarter-final in Bangalore against India. In a high-stakes chase, they gave Pakistan a strong start, but the match is often remembered for the confrontation between Aamir Sohail and Venkatesh Prasad, which occurred after the pair had already laid a solid foundation. ### Individual Contributions Saeed Anwar (1989–2003):** Renowned as one of the finest left-handed openers, he scored 8,824 runs in 247 ODIs (averaging 39.21) and 4,052 runs in 55 Tests (averaging 45.52). He famously held the record for the highest individual ODI score (194) for several years. Aamir Sohail (1990–2000):** A vital member of the 1992 World Cup-winning squad, Sohail was a consistent and aggressive opener who played 156 ODIs and 47 Tests. Beyond his batting, he served as the national team's captain and later as a chief selector for the Pakistan Cricket Board. Pakistan's Opening Duo: Anwar & Sohail
Messi’s Most Controversial Moments..🤯🔥
In 2007, Barcelona faced Espanyol in La Liga. During the match, Lionel Messi scored a goal using his hand. The referee allowed the goal, but replays later showed it was a handball, making it one of the most controversial moments of the season. Years later, in the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal between Argentina and the Netherlands, Messi was involved in another controversial handball incident. During the match, he handled the ball, but the referee did not award a foul or show him a yellow card. The decision sparked widespread debate among fans, players, and pundits after the game. Because of these two incidents, some fans compared Messi’s controversial handball moments with Diego Maradona’s famous “Hand of God” goal against England in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinal, one of the most debated goals in soccer history. #football #shorts #cristianoronaldo #ronaldo #lionelmessi #messi #handball #reaction #react #viral #viralvideo #soccer #usa
ROLLY ROMERO gets HEATED in the GYM 😳👀 #shorts
Errol Spence Jr’s return to boxing against Tim Tszyu will be available through DAZN pay-per-view and thus to DAZN Ultimate tier subscribers, along with Premier Boxing Champions’ usual Prime Video PPV home. The good news for those with DAZN’s Ultimate tier subscription is that they now have to pay nothing extra to easily and legally watch Spence vs Tszyu, which will air on Saturday, July 25. Spence (28-1, 22 KO) will be fighting for the first time in three years, nearly to the day, after his 2023 loss to Terence “Bud” Crawford, which was a one-sided thrashing. The former welterweight titleholder is moving up to 154 lbs and going on the road to face Australia’s Tszyu (27-3, 18 KO), who is 3-3 in his last six fights but still has an ability to bring action. The undercard will feature another return, as Jermall Charlo comes back to face Koen Mazoudier, and a super featherweight bout between Stephen Fulton and Liam Wilson. Tim Tszyu has cranked up the mind games ahead of his July 26 showdown with Errol Spence Jr in Sydney, suggesting the American is staring down a career-ending night. With just 25 days to go, Tszyu believes Spence’s long-awaited return from a near three-year layoff will end in brutal fashion – and be the final fight of his career. Spence is finally back after his 2023 defeat to Terence Crawford, stepping up to a new weight without a tune-up fight against what Roy Jones Jr this week described as a “highly dangerous” opponent. Tszyu, though, reckons the comeback won’t last long. “It’s the last hurrah for Errol Spence,” Tszyu told Ring Magazine. “Get in and watch his last fight.” “The Truth” has spoken about looking forward to the trip Down Under, even discussing holiday destinations and life beyond boxing. Former world champion and commentator Sergio Mora believes that’s a red flag heading into a fight with Tszyu – and the Australian couldn’t agree more. “If he’s already talking about holidays and retirement plans, then this is his last goodbye,” said Tszyu. Tension between the pair has been simmering, with Spence sensationally refusing to shake Tszyu’s hand during a backroom encounter in Las Vegas in May. Terence Crawford will be ringside to watch Errol Spence Jr’s comeback fight against Tim Tszyu. The fight marks Spence’s long-awaited return after three years out of the ring. The former unified welterweight champion has not fought since suffering the only defeat of his professional career, a ninth-round stoppage loss to Crawford in their undisputed showdown in 2023. Now 36, Spence moves up in weight to face Tszyu at a 158lb catchweight, having linked up with renowned trainer Ronnie Shields following the end of his long partnership with Derrick James. Tszyu enters the bout in far more active form. The Australian has rebuilt after consecutive defeats to Sebastian Fundora and Bakhram Murtazaliev, recording back-to-back victories. He will look to use the home crowd to his advantage. Speaking on The Porterway Podcast, ‘Bud’ confirmed that he would be in attendance for the fight and backing his former rival to win, something he has already told Tszyu. “I’mma be supporting Spence, rooting [for him]. I just like to support fighters … Of course [I’m picking Spence to win]. I told [Tsyzu] to his face.” Spence has admitted that he did consider retirement during his time off, and also that he may consider it again, win, lose or draw. Fans will be watching closely to see how he looks after such a long time out, with many already having written him off after injuries, lifestyle and a serious car accident. The fight takes place on July 25 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, with Jermall Charlo and Stephen Fulton booked for the undercard. Errol Spence Jr. is an American professional boxer. He is a former unified champion in the welterweight division, having held the World Boxing Association (WBA) (Super version), World Boxing Council (WBC), and International Boxing Federation (IBF) titles between 2017 and 2023. As an amateur, in the welterweight division, he won three consecutive United States national championships and represented the U.S. at the 2012 Olympics, where he reached the quarter-finals. In 2015, Spence was named Prospect of the Year by ESPN.
