Durante la partita dei Mondiali tra Sudafrica e Canada, che si è tenuta il 28 giugno al SoFi Stadium di Los Angeles, un ragazzo italiano si è presentato allo stadio per assistere al match indossando la maglia dell'Italia. Alcuni dei presenti hanno iniziato a prenderlo in giro, dal momento che l'Italia quest'anno non si è qualificata per competere nel torneo. Ma il ragazzo non si è lasciato schernire: «Noi abbiamo vinto quattro Mondiali, voi zero», risponde, puntando le stelle sul petto.
