Punjab and Delhi are set to face off in Match 55 of the 2026 season at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala tonight, May 11. This fixture carries heavy weight for the last 4 race, with both teams coming off a string of losses. Match Details * Venue: Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala * Time: 7:30 PM IST Key Storylines & Players to Watch Punjab : After a blistering start (6 wins in 7 matches), Shreyas Iyer's men have hit a rough patch with three consecutive losses. They are desperate to arrest this slide to secure their spot in the top four. Delhi : DELHI is fighting for survival. With only 4 wins in 11 matches, they are on the brink of elimination. A loss here likely ends their playoff aspirations, as their recent form has seen 5 losses in their last 6 games. * The Run Machine vs. The Prodigy: KL Rahul has been the lone warrior for Delhi, with 468 runs. For Punjab, Cooper Connolly is coming off a sensational unbeaten 107 in the last game and is their leading run-scorer (377 runs). * Fielding Woes: Both captains—Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel—have publicly criticised their teams' recent fielding efforts. Dropped catches cost Punjab dearly against Hyderabad, and Delhi’s inability to adapt to varying surfaces has left them vulnerable. Pitch report: * Dharamsala’s "Road" Pitch: Historically a high-scoring ground (Avg. 1st innings: 187), but weather reports suggest cloud cover and potential rain, which could assist swing bowlers like Arshdeep Singh and Mitchell Starc. aaj ka match live cricket match live match today cricket live match today online live match today लाइव क्रिकेट स्कोर live cricket match Iqbal Sports live live match today hindi commentary India match live live match today how to watch cricket live in mobile live cricket 2022 लाइव क्रिकेट स्कोर live cricket match ipl 2026 live kaise dekhe ipl live kaise dekhe ipl live stream in india ipl live stream in nepal ipl live live ipl match #livestream #livescore #trending Score Credit: crex.live Image credit: BCCI, Star India, ICC Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Into the Mehtaverse: Braden Birch joins New Jersey Devils Front Office as Assistant GM + Mock Drafts
Into the Mehtaverse: Braden Birch joins New Jersey Devils Front Office as Assistant GM + Mock Drafts

Zach Berman opened the episode by announcing that New Jersey Devils General Manager Sunny Mehta made his first major hire of the offseason, bringing in Braden Birch as Assistant General Manager and as General Manager of the Utica Comets, the Devils’ AHL affiliate. This move marks the beginning of Mehta’s efforts to strengthen the Devils’ front office, starting by recruiting talent from his previous organization, the Florida Panthers, where Birch played a pivotal role in their recent Stanley Cup successes. In detailing Birch’s background, Zach Berman highlighted his 12-year tenure with the Panthers, most recently as Director of Hockey Operations and salary cap management. Birch's experience includes significant involvement in contract negotiations for key players and maintaining Florida’s excellent salary cap health, something the Devils have struggled with in recent years. His hockey roots include playing professionally and earning a master’s degree in sport management, further underscoring his blend of on-ice and management expertise. Zach Berman provided examples of Birch’s impact in Florida, referencing his hand in savvy contracts and cap management for top players like Aleksander Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk, Sergei Bobrovsky, and Sam Reinhart. He also noted Florida’s ability to replace key departures internally and find valuable contributors through their farm system or waivers, contrasting this with New Jersey’s struggles to develop homegrown talent or depth. The hire of Birch is positioned as Mehta’s commitment to instilling a more proactive, organized, and effective approach to team building in New Jersey. To conclude, Zach Berman speculated about future front office moves, suggesting that Bryan McCabe could be another addition if not intercepted by the Maple Leafs, and addressed the current uncertainty regarding other Devils executives. He emphasized that Birch’s arrival should significantly improve the Devils’ farm system—considered among the league’s weakest—and that player development is critical to reducing reliance on expensive acquisitions. The episode closed with the assertion that Mehta’s moves signal an exciting, less predictable era for the Devils, promising ongoing updates and further discussion of mock drafts and organizational changes. Duke Men's Lacrosse: A New Endowed Scholarship in Honor of Jimmy Regan
Duke Men's Lacrosse: A New Endowed Scholarship in Honor of Jimmy Regan

Rick Vosburgh, Class of 1972, has generously endowed a scholarship in honor of Jimmy Regan. A native of Manhasset, N.Y., Regan was born in 1980 to James and Mary Regan. He graduated from Chaminade High School in Mineola, N.Y., and went on to play lacrosse and study economics at Duke. The midfielder helped guide the Blue Devils to a four-year record of 43-21 with a pair of ACC titles in 2001 and 2002 and four NCAA Tournament appearances. He was named to the 2002 ACC All-Tournament team after scoring a career-high four goals and adding an assist as Duke defeated then top-ranked Virginia, 14-13, in the championship game. Following his graduation from Duke in the spring of 2002, Regan turned down a job offer from UBS (a financial services company) and a scholarship to Southern Methodist University's law school to enlist in the Army. Surprising many of his friends and family members, he chose to enter the U.S. Army Ranger School, emailing his former teammates the explanation "This is what I have to do." Regan went on to graduate first in his class in infantry basic combat training. After completing the basic airborne course and Ranger Indoctrination program at Fort Benning in Georgia, he became a member of the 3rd Battalion. Regan served as a machine gunner, gun team leader and then fire team leader during two deployments each to Afghanistan and Iraq, as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His service in the Army was to end in February of 2008. He and his fiancée, Mary McHugh, had made plans to marry and move to Chicago upon his return to the United States, and he had hopes of becoming a social studies teacher and lacrosse coach. Regan was killed Feb. 9, 2007 in northern Iraq when an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted his vehicle. He was 26. The Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund was founded in Regan's honor by his family and friends, and continues to assist wounded and fallen Army Rangers and their families through health and wellness programs, casualty and recovery efforts, transition to civilian life and several other services. To date the Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund has given over $7 million in financial support to the families of the 75th Ranger Regiment. "Through the Lead The Way Fund, his family and friends strive to honor his spirit, his patriotism and the way he lived his life by combining our efforts to give back to his brothers, the U.S. Army Rangers," reads part of the mission statement.

The Defender Kobe Bryant Respected: Shane Battier’s Genius Defense 🏀
The Defender Kobe Bryant Respected: Shane Battier’s Genius Defense 🏀

Superstars feared scorers. Coaches feared mistakes. But Shane Battier built his career on discipline, intelligence, and sacrifice. Battier wasn’t the fastest or most athletic player on the court, but he became one of the NBA’s most respected defenders because he understood angles, positioning, timing, and effort better than almost anyone. Even Kobe Bryant respected the challenge Battier brought every night. From his championship years with the Miami Heat to battling Kobe in the playoffs, Battier proved that defense is more than talent — it’s preparation, toughness, and basketball IQ. Sometimes greatness isn’t loud. Sometimes it’s staying disciplined while guarding one of the greatest scorers ever. 🔥🏀 #ShaneBattier #KobeBryant #NBADefense #BasketballIQ #MiamiHeat #NBAHistory #Basketball #HumbleFire #Shorts #ShaneBattier #KobeBryant #MiamiHeat #NBA #Basketball #NBADefense #BasketballIQ #DefenseWinsChampionships #LeBronJames #NBAFinals #SportsDocumentary #HumbleFire #BasketballShorts #YouTubeShorts #NBAHistory

Washington Wizards will have the number one pick in the 2026 NBA Draft
Washington Wizards will have the number one pick in the 2026 NBA Draft

The Washington Wizards have won the NBA Draft lottery to secure the first selection in next month's event at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. With the worst record in the NBA, the Wizards were among three teams with 14-percent odds of getting the top pick heading into the lottery. Meanwhile, several teams jumped up in the lottery, including the Utah Jazz, who got the No. 2 pick, as well as the Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls, who will pick third and fourth, respectively.Next month's draft has a number of elite recruits, including BYU swingman AJ Dybantsa, Kansas combo guard Darryn Peterson and Duke power forward Cameron Boozer, the son of retired NBA forward, Carlos. 'Standing here is kind of crazy,' Dybantsa told reporters in New York on Sunday, as quoted by The Associated Press. 'One of these teams is going to be home.' In addition to the top pick in next month's NBA Draft, the Wizards also enter the 2026-27 season with former All-Stars Trae Young and Anthony Davis, both of whom were acquired in trades during the 2025-26 campaign. Interestingly, this marked the second consecutive year that a team that acquired Davis in a mid-season trade went on to get the first pick in the following draft. Last season, the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic for Davis and ultimately picked Rookie of the Year favorite Cooper Flagg first overall. No team suffered more on Sunday than the Indiana Pacers, who also had a 14-percent chance at the top pick, but will now surrender the fifth-overall selection in next month's draft by virtue of a conditional February trade for center Ivica Zubac. That deal specified that the Pacers' first-round pick would convey to the Clippers if it fell between picks No. 5 and No. 9. The Brooklyn Nets also got some bad news on Sunday, landing the No. 6 selection despite also having a 14-percent chance at the top spot. The Sacramento Kings will pick at No. 7, while the Atlanta Hawks, Mavs, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder, Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets found out selections No. 8 through No. 14, respectively. The NBA plans to implement anti-tanking rules in 2027 after a number of teams, including the Wizards, were accused of limiting their rosters in an effort to capture this year's No. 1 overall pick. Washington has not reached the playoffs since Scott Brooks coached the team in 2021. Brooks was fired after that season and replaced with the son and namesake of franchise legend Wes Unseld, who was then replaced with Brian Keefe in 2024. Keefe is expected to retain his job on the Wizards sideline heading into next season despite a record of 43-160 in Washington. The Wizards were represented on Sunday by John Wall, the retired point guard they picked the last time the team won the lottery. Washington also had the top pick in 2001, when they made the ill-fated decision to pick Kwame Brown, as well as 1961 and 1962, when they added Walt Bellamy and Bill McGill, respectively. #basketball #washingtonwizards #wizards #nbadraft
