Dele Alli scored one and set up two more as Tottenham Hotspur recorded a comfortable 4-0 win against Wolfsberger to reach the Europa League round of 16. Alli, who has not started a Premier League game since the opening day of the season and looked set to leave the club in January, opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a brilliant acrobatic effort. The 24-year-old received the ball in the penalty area with his back to goal but flicked the ball up before executing an overhead kick to extend Spurs' aggregate lead in style. Within minutes Alli played a perfectly weighted ball for Bale to thump home and extend Spurs' lead to three goals on the night. Vinicius scored his second of the game on 83 minutes with an instinctive finish after 16-year-old substitute Dane Scarlett had won possession for Tottenham high up the pitch. That made it 4-0 on the night and 8-1 on aggregate. "Dele had a difficult period, he had an injury, at the same time was the talk about him staying or leaving, the market closed, the injury's gone and he starts working with lots of motivation," Mourinho said of Alli's virtuoso display. "It's coming and that's what we need. He is playing very well. Liverpool's losing run continued as rivals Everton earned a rare Merseyside derby victory with a 2-0 result at Anfield on Saturday. Goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson in each half were enough for Everton to secure their first derby victory at Anfield since 1999. The result means that Liverpool suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in the league and fourth in a row at home. Liverpool's dismal day was compounded when they lost captain Jordan Henderson to injury in the first-half Everton go level on points with Liverpool with both teams three points off the top four places but Everton have a game in hand. "I am very pleased for the club and the supporters," Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti told Sky Sports postmatch. "I hope for sure that they are going to celebrate tonight. It was a good performance. A lot of fight and spirit. I am really happy." Everton took the lead inside three minutes when James Rodriguez played a through ball to Richarlison who produced an emphatic finish. Liverpool responded well and forced Jordan Pickford into two superb saves from Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold respectively. The Liverpool captain then limped off just before the half an hour mark with an injury and was replaced with youngster Nathaniel Phillips. Moments after the substitution, Everton had a great chance to double their lead but Seamus Coleman's close-range header was saved by Alisson. The hosts were livelier in the second half with Sadio Mane heading two crosses over the bar and then having a shot brilliantly blocked by Michael Keane. Just before 70 minutes, Mohamed Salah was denied from close-range by another great Pickford save. With eight minutes remaining, Dominic Calvert-Lewin was brought down by Alexander-Arnold inside the box and Sigurdsson converted the penalty to seal the win. Everton's long-serving skipper Coleman was delighted to have finally tasted success at Anfield. "It's an amazing feeling, after coming here all those years and letting ourselves and more importantly letting the blue side of the city down," he said. "It's been hard. We can try and brush it off but when you have lived in the city for 10 years it has been difficult to take. "I'm fed up with coming out with the same cliches after losing. I'd thank the manager for the way he set us up and the players put in an unbelievable shift. That was against the champions, so we are delighted." Chelsea began life under Thomas Tuchel with an uninspired goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge. A day after replacing Frank Lampard in the Stamford Bridge hotseat Tuchel was left with much to ponder as his side dominated possession but offered little goal threat. Chelsea strung together almost 900 passes against a defensive Wolves but the vast majority of them were risk-free and easy meat for the visitors well-drilled rearguard. An entirely forgettable first half at Stamford Bridge was followed by a more lively second period with Chelsea going close to giving Tuchel a dream start on a few occasions. Ben Chilwell blasted a great chance over the bar and Callum Hudson-Odoi, a surprise starter, had a deflected shot saved. It was actually Wolves who had the best chance when Pedro Neto scooped a shot onto the roof of the net. Chelsea's poor run of form, which cost club great Lampard his job on Monday, continues and they have now managed to win only twice in their last nine league games. Former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain coach Tuchel sent on Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Tammy Abraham late on and they livened things up but Wolves held firm to leave Chelsea in eighth place. Tuchel, twice a Ligue 1 winner with PSG, rung the changes for his first selection, dropping Lampard favourites Mount, Reece James and Abraham, and opting for experience with Olivier Giroud, Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicueta all starting. There was lots of harmless passing in the first half but apart from an Antonio Rudiger header there was little to get excited about. Tuchel clearly called for more daring after the break but it took Chelsea a long time to start to threaten, with Hudson-Odoi their most likely creator in a wide right role. Mateo Kovacic thought he had scored with a terrific curling effort, shortly after Kai Havertz had set up Chilwell who lifted his shot over the bar. Tuchel waited until the 75th minute to send on United States international Pulisic and shortly afterwards gave Mount the chance to show that leaving him out was a mistake. Mount looked impressive and one great turn almost resulted in a chance but his cut back found no one in a blue shirt. Wolves showed little of the flair they have been associated with but Neto nearly stunned the hosts when he was played in by Daniel Podence but his audacious scooped lob went just over.
