The Montreal Canadiens played tonight at the Honda Center and would end up losing to the Anaheim Ducks in regulation by a final score of 4-2. In the 1st period power-plays goal from Adam Henrique of the Ducks, Mike Hoffman of the Canadiens to tie the game, and Vinni Lettieri of the Ducks for the 2-1 lead would bring us to the 2nd where Jake Evans would tie the game up late before history would be made in the 3rd period as Ryan Getzlaf with the primary assist on a Troy Terry breakaway goal would surpass Teemu Selanne as the Anaheim Ducks' all-time points leader before Connor Carrick would get the empty netter to seal the deal for an Anaheim Ducks' victory. Montreal Canadiens fall 5-2 to the Los Angeles Kings for 7th loss | Habs 2021-22 Season | Episode 9
The Montreal Canadiens played at the Staples Center today against the Los Angeles Kings in an early game before Halloween and would end up losing by a score of 5-2 in regulation. In the 1st period the only goal would be scored by Josh Anderson for his 2nd of the season, but Viktor Arvidsson would tie the game up in the 2nd period before a goal by Arthur Kaliyev would get the 2-1 lead, then in the 3rd period Rasmus Kapari and Adrian Kempe would get goals to make it 4-1 but after Kempe's 2nd of the night for the 5-1 lead, Ben Chiarot would score late in the 3rd to make it respectable as the final score would be 5-2 win for the Kings. Habs lose to Flames 5-2 with embarrassing performance in must-win | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 46
The Montreal Canadiens would play Calgary in the Saddledome again tonight and would end up losing 5-2 in what turned out to be Cayden Primeau's first game of the season. Nick Suzuki would open the scoring before Johnny Gaudreau would tie it up with 30 seconds left in the 1st period. Milan Lucic and Johnny Gaudreau would score to make it 3-1 but Tyler Toffoli the birthday boy would make it 3-2 before the end of the 2nd period. Brett Ritchie after slewfooting Ben Chiarot would make it 4-2 and Rasmus Andersson would get the empty net goal from his own zone to seal the victory. Habs lose to the Flames 4-1 with embarrassing "effort" | Habs 2020-21 Season | Episode 40
The Montreal Canadiens played tonight at home facing the Calgary Flames and would end up losing 4-1. Noah Hanifin would open the scoring in the 1st period, and Mark Giordano early in the 2nd period would extend the lead to 2-0 but Brett Kulak would score the Habs' only goal to make it 2-1 heading into the 3rd. Josh Leivo would make it 3-1 off a Shea Weber turnover and Sean Monahan would bury the empty netter from his own zone to give the Flames a 4-1 victory.
