The Montreal Canadiens played at the Staples Center today against the Los Angeles Kings in an early game before Halloween and would end up losing by a score of 5-2 in regulation. In the 1st period the only goal would be scored by Josh Anderson for his 2nd of the season, but Viktor Arvidsson would tie the game up in the 2nd period before a goal by Arthur Kaliyev would get the 2-1 lead, then in the 3rd period Rasmus Kapari and Adrian Kempe would get goals to make it 4-1 but after Kempe's 2nd of the night for the 5-1 lead, Ben Chiarot would score late in the 3rd to make it respectable as the final score would be 5-2 win for the Kings.
