WHY the Los Angeles Clippers are showing they can WIN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE | 2021 NBA Finals?
Twitter: https://www.Twitter.com/SeanCostelloJr So after a disappointing ending to their 2020-21 Season, the LA Clippers didn’t look too eye popping or like anything special this season as even tho they’ve been a top 3 seed in the Western Conference for a good chunk of the season, they felt like a very inconsistent team and a team that was just hanging around or going through the motions. But all of a sudden the Clippers look like they’re finally starting to come into their own as a team and they look like a team that might actually be able to win the Western Conference and make a 2021 NBA Finals appearance. Last night the Los Angeles Clippers got a very good win over the Philadelphia 76ers as they beat them by a final score of 122-112. This meant that the Clippers ended the very hot Philadelphia 76ers 4 game winning streak and the Clippers extended their own winning streak to 5 games and now have won 6 of their last 7 games. The Clippers got great performances from many of their players as Kawhi lead the team and the entire game in scoring, Paul George nearly had a triple double and Terrance Mann scored 23 points off the bench. So the team got very good contributions from three of their players showing they can get great nights from all over their roster, and even the team’s bench as Terrance Mann came off the bench for the Clippers in last night’s win and scored those 23 points that he did. Beyond that though the team also had Reggie Jackson score 12 points and Marcus Morris Sr score 13 points. So the team had 5 different players score double digit point totals which of course will always help your team claim the victory in said game. That’s actually been a normal occurrence for the Los Angeles Clippers over their last 7 games as they’ve had 7 players averaging double digit point totals over that timespan. So the team’s offense hasn’t been good, but the reason for the Clippers recently improved level of play has really been because the team has somehow improved their already very good defense. The Clippers opponents have nearly averaged the lowest points per game total over their last 5 games and last 7 games and over that time span quite literally ever team that they’ve faced has been a team that is currently in position to make the 2021 NBA Playoffs this summer. So today I figured I’d break down why this Los Angeles Clippers team has played so well lately and exactly why they’ve improved to the great level of play that they have as of late. Today we’re going to talk about all the specifics and quite literally every single stat and reason for why the Clippers have played at improved and very high level of play lately that they have. WHY the Philadelphia 76ers are STILL TITLE CONTENDERS WITHOUT Joel Embiid! | DOMINATING OTHER TEAMS!
Through the first half of the 2020-21 NBA Season, 76ers Starting Center and Superstar Joel Embiid really seemed like he was the closest thing you can be to being a unanimous MVP in the eyes of fans, but when he suffered a hyperextended knee on March 12th in Washington during the Sixers game against the Wizards, it seemed his chances at being the first MVP since Shaquille O’Neal would be sadly ruined and the 76ers would fall out of the first seed in the Eastern Conference that they’ve held onto all season. However, that hasn’t seemed to be the case and this 76ers team really hasn’t looked much different and you can even argue that they’ve built more chemistry and played better ever since Embiid’s injury. However, the Sixers are still playing very well even without the 2021 NBA Regular Season MVP Candidate Joel Embiid. The team has held on to their first seed in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. The 76ers have also gotten some great wins in the 7 games ever since Joel Embiid got hurt, including a win over the Spurs and their win against the Los Angeles Lakers last night if you would like to include that win in the conversation even though the Los Angeles Lakers were without their two best players and Superstars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Philadelphia 76ers also put up a tremendous performance against the extremely hot Milwaukee Bucks who are currently riding an 8 game winning streak and the Philadelphia 76ers played the Milwaukee Bucks during that winning streak, yet the final score was only within just four points. This Philadelphia 76ers team is getting great production from their entire roster and entire rotation lately and their chemistry has been off the chart and if anything, this stretch of games without Joel Embiid may actually yield positive results for the Philadelphia 76ers going forward to help build chemistry for the team when Joel Embiid returns upon many of the things. Doc Rivers really has his men and this Philadelphia 76ers team playing hard and playing together as a complete unit. Today we’re going to breakdown and talk about why this Philadelphia 76ers team is still a great playoff team even without Joel Embiid’s presence there on the court with the team. WHY the Miami Heat look like a LEGIT NBA Title contender | Butler deserves to be in MVP Conversation
The Miami Heat came out of nowhere last season when the 2019-20 NBA Season resumed in the NBA Bubble on the NBA Campus in Orlando Florida at World’s Wide World of Sports facility when they punched their ticket to the NBA Finals against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Heat would sadly lose to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals in 6 games and they would have to head back home to Miami, Florida and face the shortest offseason in all of sports history with just a 72 day offseason. The Miami Heat struggled out of the gates to begin the 2020-21 NBA Season but it didn’t seem to be because of their short and only 72 day offseason, but it was actually because of the fact that they were missing many players for many games as many of their players, including their best player Jimmy Butler missed many games, including 10 straight games due to being out as a result of the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols. The Miami Heat held a record of 6-12 and were one of the worst teams in the entire NBA, however that was until Jimmy Butler ended up making his return and brought the Miami Heat back to a title contending level. Jimmy Butler truly has looked like a legitimate 2021 NBA MVP Candidate with how he has elevated this Miami Heat team and this Heat team has been tremendous. The team has been the best defensive team in the entire NBA ever since the return of Jimmy Butler on January 30th of this year and the team is currently tied for the 2nd most wins of any other team in the league ever since that point. This team is truly looking like they’re a legit title contender and it’s super exciting to see if you’re a Miami Heat fan. Today we’re going to talk about the facts why the Miami Heat truly look like and feel like a 2021 NBA Title contender. This team is not only the top team or a top team in the league in regards to many different statistical categories, but they’re also currently rumored to trade for players such as Kyle Lowry, Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Vucevic and Victor Oladipo. Safe to say if the Heat are able to acquire any one of those said players while also retaining, Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo, that this team will be legit and a team that the other teams will need to focus on and watch out for in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. WHY the Milwaukee Bucks are a LEGIT CONTENDER and Giannis SHOULD be in the MVP CONVERSATION
The Milwaukee Bucks had a disappointing ending to their 2019-20 NBA Season in the 2020 Playoffs when they lost in the second round to the Miami Heat. After they had to leave the NBA Bubble/NBA Campus in Orlando Florida at Disney World’s Wide World of Sports facility, the Bucks knew they had to make some changes to their roster and make sure they could give their 2019 and 2020 MVP Award Winner, Giannis Antentokounmpo some more help in order to win an NBA Championship and NBA Title. Plus, they had to do so to make sure they were able to re-sign Giannis Antentokounmpo as there were rumors of him leaving Milwaukee and the Bucks to go win a title with a team such as the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks or the Los Angeles Lakers. Well the Milwaukee Bucks would make a huge trade as they sent a very big trade package to the New Orleans Pelicans and received one of the most underrated and most underappreciated players, point guards and guards in the entire NBA, Jrue Holiday. Later on in that same 2020 NBA Offseason, Giannis Antentokounmpo would end up re-signing with the Milwaukee Bucks and all of a sudden the Bucks had their foundation and game plan for the future all set and ready to go. Well the Milwaukee Bucks have played well very good this season, but they also have had a very strange season and in a way it’s actually been a relatively disappointing season for the Milwaukee Bucks as last season they were the first overall seed and had the best record in the entire league, but now they are in third place in the Eastern Conference and they’ve fallen all the way down to the 7th seed in the NBA. The team has also had players missing games, including most notably that star point guard that they traded that very big trade package for filled with multiple first round NBA Draft picks, Jrue Holiday However, the team has played very well lately and they are now getting Jrue Holiday back as he has now returned after being out due to the Health and Safety protocols. WHY Eastern Conference teams CAN'T SLEEP ON LaMelo Ball and the Hornets in the 2021 NBA Playoffs
The Charlotte Hornets had a disappointing ending to their 2019-20 NBA Season as they missed out on 2020 NBA Playoffs and did not even receive an invitation to the NBA Bubble/NBA Campus in Orlando Florida at Disney World’s Wide World of Sports facility. This offseason tho the Charlotte Hornets looked to make improvements to their team and their roster after they landed the third overall draft pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and selected Ball Brother and highly scouted prospect who began playing professional basketball at the age of 16, LaMelo Ball. Despite the Charlotte Hornets using their top 3 draft pick and third overall draft pick on LaMelo Ball, LaMelo did not start the first 20 games of the Charlotte Hornets 2020-21 NBA Season. This drew criticism from many fans and even LaMelo Ball’s father LaVar Ball. LaVar Ball would call out Charlotte Hornets coach James Borrego for doing this to his son and said that none of his son’s are role players and all three Ball brothers are prime time showtime players. Well not too long after LaVar came out, made those comments and criticized Charlotte Hornets coach, James Borrego, LaMelo began to start games for the Charlotte Hornets. In these 13 games ever since LaMelo Ball has began to start games for the Charlotte Hornets, this Charlotte Hornets team has become a top 10 team offensively team in the entire National Basketball Association. The Charlotte Hornets proved just how great they are offensively last night when they came back and got the win against the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento. The Sacramento Kings had an 8 point lead with 53 seconds left in regulation but the Charlotte Hornets were able to come back and shock the Sacramento Kings and get the win due to just how well the team played and just how lethal they are offensively. Whether it’s LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier III, DeVonte Graham, Malik Monk, PJ Washington, Gordon Hayward of any of the Charlotte Hornets players, they have a great, skilled and talented group and roster of players filled with players or guys who can take over, dominate and dictate the outcome of any basketball game on any given night. WHY the Washington Wizards will be a 2021 NBA PLAYOFF TEAM Despite Terrible Start | WIZARDS ON FIRE!
The Washington Wizards found out the disappointing news in 2019 when John Wall suffered an injury on December 29th 2018, then they found out that John Wall suffered an infection in an incision from his surgery then was injured when he slipped and fell in his home and ruptured his left achilles tendon. The Wizards dealt with a season and a half of struggles but it looked like they would finally be back at 100% or close to 100% during this 2020-21 NBA Season as John Wall would finally make his return to action after nearly two years. Well that wouldn't end up being the case as the Washington Wizards would end up trading John Wall for Russell Westbrook in a trade that was a huge deal in the NBA Community after tensions began to boil between John Wall and the Wizards and after the Washington Wizards themselves quite literally told John Wall he would not be traded. Following that trade though the Wizards didn’t seem to be on the correct end of the trade or didn’t seem like they ended up winning the trade as the Rockets started to thrive and the Wizards were the worst team in the entire NBA. Now though, the Washington Wizards all of a sudden only just a game and a half out of a spot to play in the NBA Playoffs or the NBA’s first ever Play-In Tournament after the implemented this new Playoff format. This team is truly looking like a 2021 NBA Playoff team and they’re currently playing exceptionally well right now. WHY this Season has actually been a POSITIVE SEASON for the Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves have been dealing with quite the rough season ever since the 2020-21 NBA Season began in December of 2020. That comes even with the fact that they have the first overall draft pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Anthony Edwards, on their roster. The team has had many players dealing with injury, the virus as a result of the current pandemic and they have missed their top two players, Point Guard D’Angelo Russell, and Star Center Karl-Anthony Towns, for many many games this season. However, if you could believe it or not, this season has actually been a positive one for the Minnesota Timberwolves for many many reasons. They have put themselves in great positive for a top draft pick, they have gotten a look at some of their other players, and or other young players, and have found out many other things that can be looked at as positive.
