The Miami Heat came out of nowhere last season when the 2019-20 NBA Season resumed in the NBA Bubble on the NBA Campus in Orlando Florida at World’s Wide World of Sports facility when they punched their ticket to the NBA Finals against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Heat would sadly lose to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals in 6 games and they would have to head back home to Miami, Florida and face the shortest offseason in all of sports history with just a 72 day offseason. The Miami Heat struggled out of the gates to begin the 2020-21 NBA Season but it didn’t seem to be because of their short and only 72 day offseason, but it was actually because of the fact that they were missing many players for many games as many of their players, including their best player Jimmy Butler missed many games, including 10 straight games due to being out as a result of the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols. The Miami Heat held a record of 6-12 and were one of the worst teams in the entire NBA, however that was until Jimmy Butler ended up making his return and brought the Miami Heat back to a title contending level. Jimmy Butler truly has looked like a legitimate 2021 NBA MVP Candidate with how he has elevated this Miami Heat team and this Heat team has been tremendous. The team has been the best defensive team in the entire NBA ever since the return of Jimmy Butler on January 30th of this year and the team is currently tied for the 2nd most wins of any other team in the league ever since that point. This team is truly looking like they’re a legit title contender and it’s super exciting to see if you’re a Miami Heat fan. Today we’re going to talk about the facts why the Miami Heat truly look like and feel like a 2021 NBA Title contender. This team is not only the top team or a top team in the league in regards to many different statistical categories, but they’re also currently rumored to trade for players such as Kyle Lowry, Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Vucevic and Victor Oladipo. Safe to say if the Heat are able to acquire any one of those said players while also retaining, Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo, that this team will be legit and a team that the other teams will need to focus on and watch out for in the 2021 NBA Playoffs.
