Tristan Thompson 17 Points/2 Threes Full Highlights (11/12/2019)
Tristan Thompson 17 Points/2 Threes Full Highlights (11/12/2019)

The Kardashian Curse that was cruelly cast upon Tristan Thompson has, officially, been lifted. I don't know why now would be the time for it to be lifted, and I don't know which Kardashian (there is, apparently, more than one) put it on him in the first place, but all that is in the past. It's gone now. How can I tell? Let me educate you, for it is I who have studied some of these accursed arts. Obviously, a player under the malefic spell of a hideous hag-witch would not be able to hit multiple threes in the game. Their body, ensorcelled by dark magic, would have not the strength to propel the ball all the way from the three-point arc to the rim more than once per game. Thompson, beset as he was by evil goety, could not summon the strength to even attempt a three for many years of his career. He is a new man now. He is playing with so much joy and energy that it is almost terrifying to behold. Once mocked for his statement "the East still runs through Cleveland", he is proving that there is still fight in him, and this fight, this spirit, is infectious. The Cavaliers are playing very well with him on the court, no longer the pushovers they were last year. What did Thompson do to deserve the Kardashian Curse? We may never know, but we do know of the indomitable power of his soul. No enchantment from a deformed harridan could hold him down forever. All clips property of the NBA. Tristan Thompson 21 Points Full Highlights (11/8/2019)
Tristan Thompson 21 Points Full Highlights (11/8/2019)

I have had to make way too many Tristan Thompson highlight videos to start the season. This is the fourth one and we're only seven games into the season; for comparison, I made just five of them all of last season (including playoffs [LOL (lots of laughs [the Cavaliers didn't make the playoffs that's why I am LMAOing (loving my amused orations)])]). That fact makes me very upset. In fact, I'm so upset that I'm going to grab some of Tristan Thompson's low-hanging fruit and yank on it. That low-hanging fruit is his erstwhile relationship with one Kim Kardashian. Or was it Khloe Kardashian? Or Kharlotte? We're going to consult the Googs and get back to this shortly. So, it turns out that Thompson was dating Khloe Kardashian, but then something happened and they weren't dating anymore. Wow! What a loser! Haha! I can't believe he dated a reality star! And I can't believe he ruined the relationship through his own selfish actions! LOL! While his teammates were being model members of society, he was chasing famous girls and becoming embroiled in tabloid drama! All of this drew attention to the fact that he was overpaid at the time! Haha! They probably had sex! I typed all that but I don't feel any less upset. I suppose, since I can't bring myself to care about tabloid drama in the first place, the act of clowning on Thompson for it is not therapeutic. Maybe I should clown on him for sharing agents with LeBron and getting overpaid for that reason. Actually, I'll save that for a future video description because I've reached my unofficial word limit for this one. All clips property of the NBA. No copyright infringement is intended. I figure that, just like people have sexual fetishes, people also have "highlights fetishes" which dictate what kind of highlight videos they enjoy watching.

Tristan Thompson 23 Points/5 Blocks Full Highlights (10/30/2019)

Tristan Thompson 25 Points/1 Three Full Highlights (10/26/2019)
Tristan Thompson 25 Points/1 Three Full Highlights (10/26/2019)

Tristan Thompson had played in 563 regular-season NBA games prior to tonight. In all 563 of those games, he made exactly zero three-pointers. In 554 of those games, he attempted exactly zero three-pointers. The scouting report on him was very clear: he does not shoot threes. Ever. And if he sometimes accidentally shoots a three, it does not go in. Ever. That era of Tristan Thompson basketball ended tonight. Behold, the new era of Tristan Thompson basketball is upon us: the era where he shoots threes for a few games before stopping because it's not really working out. You remember the "shooting threes" era of Andre Drummond's career, right? That's how this is going to be. If I'm wrong (and I won't be), you can try to call me out on it, but by that point I'll have edited this description to say that I have full confidence in his three-point shooting abilities going forward. That's the great thing about the Internet, as Chad Ford found out. If you're wrong, you can make yourself un-wrong as long as no one has some sort of archive of all the stuff you put out there. I'm guess that in the next few games he'll attempt one or two threes per contest, none of them will go in, and he'll go back to being a pure rim roller and garbageman. But, it was fun while it lasted. The Cavs commentators were having an absolute blast. Actually, it sounded like they were having an absolute blast the ENTIRE game. I miss Fred McLeod already, I guess you don't miss what you have until it's gone. For real. I'm not even being sarcastic right now. I didn't even realize I liked the dude until I heard some random unknown dude (is it Brad Daugherty????) say "I love it!" over and over while adding nothing of substance. Enes Kanter 20 Points Full Highlights (4/14/2019)
Enes Kanter 20 Points Full Highlights (4/14/2019)

It's not a stretch to say that Enes Kanter won this game for the Blazers with his inextinguishible desire to grab rebounds, particularly of the offensive variety. While Lameian Brickard and C.J. McChuckBrick were missing shots, Kanter just walked right in there to clean things up for them. Some clutch O-boards at the end + clutch driving flip shot with eleven seconds to go = an overall clutch performance from a guy about whom Billy Donovan famously found unplayable (him mouthing "Can't play Kanter" to an assistant is still one of the funnier lipreads from a coach in recent memory, behind Kidd's immortal "hit me"). Somehow, Kanter is always in position for the rebound. It's like he's impossible to box out. You can try to get a body on him to keep him off the boards, but then he'll magically teleport in front of you to get superior positioning, or he'll just time his jump so well that it doesn't matter whether you boxed him or not, because he knows when to jump and you don't. He's perpetually one of the best rebounders in the league, but I don't even know how he does it, other than he uses his Turkish powers of, uh, power to overpower the wimps who are trying to stop him from rebounding the ball. Concerns that the Blazers wouldn't be able to take on the Thunder without Jusuf Nurkic are so far proven to be unfounded. Sure, the Thunder were ridiculously cold shooting the ball, but that was only because they were so demoralized by Kanter's domination of the boards. All clips property of the NBA. D.J. Augustin 25 Points/6 Threes/1 Game-Winner Full Highlights (4/13/2019)
D.J. Augustin 25 Points/6 Threes/1 Game-Winner Full Highlights (4/13/2019)

The seventh-seed Orlando Magic just upset the second-seed Toronto Raptors in the first game of the first round. The D.J. Augustin vs. Kyle Lowry matchup, which had previously not been paid much attention to, is suddenly at the forefront of the series. In this video description, I will attempt to answer: who is the better player? Augustin, or Lowry? And the easiest way to do this is to break down the question into sub-questions. POINTS THIS GAME: Augustin had 26. Lowry had 0. ADVANTAGE: Augustin POINTS THIS SEASON: Augustin has scored 948 points this season (regular season only). Lowry has scored 926. ADVANTAGE: Augustin ASSISTS THIS GAME. Augustin has six. Lowry had eight. On the surface, it would seem that eight is more than six, granting Lowry the advantage in this category, but one has to remember that Augustin got his assists in the flow of the Magic offense. Lowry simply spammed passes to his teammates because he wasn't making any of this shots. ADVANTAGE: Augustin NOT BEING A HUGE CHOKER: Augustin did not choke in this game. In fact, he hit the game-winner, which is the exact opposite of choking. Lowry choked on the biggest stage, failed to hit any game-winners (or any shots at all) and is definitely a choke-artist. ADVANTAGE: Augustin REVENGE STATUS: Augustin just had a total REVENGE GAME against his former team, the Raptors. It was justified revenge because the Raptors almost compeltely derailed Augustin's career back in 2013. Meanwhile, Lowry has never played for the Magic, and has no desire to exact revenge upon them. ADVANTAGE: Augustin PERIODS IN NAME: Augustin has two periods in his first name to separate his initials. Lowry has no periods in his name anywhere. ADVANTAGE: Augustin PERIODS IN REAL LIFE: Neither Augustin nor Lowry experience menstrual periods, but Lowry definitely seems like the kind of guy who would get periods if it were biologically possible. That's not a good thing. ADVANTAGE: Augustin STEPPING UP IN BIG MOMENTS: Augustin came through in the last minute of the game when his scoring ability was needed the most. Lowry completely failed to step up to anything, much less any "big moment". ADVANTAGE: Augustin HAIR: Augustin has an immaculate hairline that always looks clean-cut and under control. Lowry doesn't match that level of dedication when it comes to hair care. ADVANTAGE: Augustin RELATIONSHIP WITH TEAMMATES: Everybody was hugging and congratulating Augustin this game. I didn't see any of the same actions from Lowry's teammates. They obviously hate his huts. ADVANTAGE: Augustin After these factual facts were analyzed with truth and factuality, it was impossible to come to any other decision than this: D.J. Augustin is BETTER THAN Kyle Lowry.
