Quinten Post added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals of his own in the win. J.R. Konieczny paced the Irish with 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals in the loss.
The No. 12 Duke Blue Devils got late-game heroics from Kyle Filipowski and Tyrese Proctor as Jon Scheyer's club held off the hard-fighting Clemson Tigers, 72-71. Trailing by 2 with 20 seconds remaining, Filipowski converted a huge 3-point play. After PJ Hall converted on FTs to give Clemson a 1-point lead, Proctor drew a foul with 1 second remaining and calmly drilled two foul shots to give Duke the win. Jared McCain led all scorers with 21 points on 8-12 shooting while Proctor added 18 points in the win. PJ Hall paced the Tigers with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Hokies won big at home over the Yellow Jackets, 91-67. Virginia Tech was up double-digits for most of the game, but when Georgia Tech cut the lead to seven, the Hokies responded with an 11-0 run. Virginia Tech had 23 assists on their 32 made field goals. Lynn Kidd had 18 points and four rebounds for the Hokies. Mylyjael Poteat added 18 points, six rebounds, and two blocks. For Georgia Tech, Baye Ndongo led the Yellow Jackets with 16 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks.
Virginia went into halftime at the Yum! Center with a 28 point lead and cruised to a 69-52 road victory over Louisville. The Wahoos shot an even 50% from the floor and 47% from range and scored 24 points off turnovers in the win. Ryan Dunn led the way with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the win. Reece Beekman’s active hands snagged 5 steals in a 9-point, 9-assist performance. Tre White’s 10 points led the Cardinals.

At home in Chapel Hill, No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels won their ninth straight game as they beat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 85-64. RJ Davis led all scorers with 36 points on 14-23 shooting to go along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the win. Freshman point guard Elliot Cadeau was more aggressive on offense than normal, scoring 14 points on 7-12 shooting. Hunter Sallis led the Deacs with 18 points in the loss.
