The Syracuse Orange moved to 6-1 in ACC play with a road win over the Panthers, 72-59. Syracuse made 10 three-pointers in the game compared to just two made threes for Pitt. Dyaisha Fair topped 20 points once again, scoring 22 points with six made three-pointers. Fair also had six assists, four steals, and two rebounds. Georgia Wooley had 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Pitt's Liatu King continues to put up huge performances as she finished the game with 27 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.

Playing in Raleigh, the #4 Wolfpack bounced back from their loss earlier this week with a 72-57 victory over the Blue Devils. NC State led by as many as 23 late in the third quarter. Aziaha James seemed like the most unstoppable player on the court for the Wolfpack. James finished the game with 33 points on 12-20 shooting, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Mimi Collins had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. For Duke, Kennedy Brown led the Blue Devils with 14 points.

In Chapel Hill, the #23 North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the #13 Louisville Cardinals, 79-68 in a tough ACC battle. Deja Kelly led the Tar Heels with 23 points and added 6 assists. Alyssa Ustby was terrific for the Tar Heels too, scoring 10 points, grabbing 12 boards and blocking 7 shots in the win. Lexi Donarski pitched in 13 points for UNC, including nailing three 3-pointers. Nyla Harris scored 16 points on 7-11 shooting to lead the Cardinals. Olivia Cochran and Jayda Curry added 14 points each for Louisville.

In Raleigh, in a back-and-forth battle, the Virginia Tech Hokies earned a big road win over the NC State Wolfpack, 84-78. The game had an "old-school" ACC feel, with 15 lead changes and 7 ties. Five players scored in double figures for Mike Young's club, led by Hunter Cattoor's 16 points. Casey Morsell led the Pack with 19 points while DJ Horne added 16 points in the loss.

Virginia picks up its first road win of the season with a 75-66 victory over Georgia Tech. It is their 12th win in a row over Georgia Tech. Isaac McKneely hit six three-pointers to lead Virginia with 20 points. Reece Beekman added 19 points, 11 assists, six rebounds, and two steals. Freshmen Naithan George and Baye Ndongo each scored 15 points for Georgia Tech.

The Pitt Panthers defeated the Duke Blue Devils in Cameron Indoor for the first time since 1979. It had been three years since Pitt had beaten Duke, but they took down the #7 Blue Devils, 80-76. Blake Hinson was a perfect 7-7 from three-point range and scored a game-high 24 points. Hinson also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds. Freshman Jaland Lowe scored 17 points, including a critical three-pointer with 43 seconds left to put the Panthers up 4. For Duke Jared McCain scored a game-high 20 points and Kyle Filipowski had 19 points and five rebounds.

At home, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons earn the 90-65 home win over the Louisville Cardinals in ACC basketball action. Hunter Sallis led the Deacons in scoring with 19 points while Andrew Carr added 18 in the win. Cameron Hildreth chipped in 11 recounds and 6 assists and Damari Monsanto scored 12 for Wake Forest. Tre White scored 17 on 7-8 shooting for Louisville.
