Gillingham 2-7 Oxford United - Review - OUFC Blow The Gills away!!
Usually going to Gillingham FC is a tough game of football. But not today as it ended Gillingham 2-7 Oxford United. OUFC Blow the Gills away. Here is my review. This Gillingham vs Oxford United game was done and dusted really after 20 minutes OUFC raced to a 3-0 lead and it made for a very comfortable and enjoyable Saturday afternoon. Billy Bodin, Matty Taylor, Anthony Forde and 4 penalties for Cameron Brannagan were the goal scorers. Gillingham were poor, but Oxford were ruthless and have really helped their goal difference in the Sky Bet League One promotion race. This wasn't a record win for OUFC but it sets them up well for a tough February in the EFL. The Football League is relentless, but hopefully Oxford Utd are peaking at the right time. Lincoln City 2-0 Oxford United - Review - Terrible, Awful, Dreadful DISASTER!!
This was Oxford United's worst performance of the season. 2022 has not started well as Oxford lost at Lincoln City today. It was a DISASTER for OUFC Terrible, Dreadful Awful are just some of the words that came to mind watching EFL league One match between Lincoln City vs Oxford United. the game finished Lincoln City 2-0 Oxford United and it was a deserved victory for the Imps. Oxford Utd lost Brannagan to injury and Herbie got a straight red card which means he is out for 3 games. Oxford Utd are going to have to quickly forget this one as right from the start when Matty Taylor missed a one on one chance Oxford were off it. Credit to Lincoln and former U's boss Michael Appleton. They have struggled this season but Anthony Scully and Morgan Whittaker on debut got the goals. Chris Maguire was brilliant too. A Perfect Result from Oxford United this evening. Enjoy this Very Biased Opinions Match Review of Oxford United vs AFC Wimbledon OUFC have not played for a while and neither have AFCW so you could be excused for this being a bit like a preseason friendly, but not a bit of it from and Oxford point of view as they produced and outstanding performance as it finished Oxford United 3-0 AFC Wimbledon. Signs that this Oxford United side are going to be fighting for promotion this season as goals from Mark Sykes, Matty Taylor and Sam Long made it a very comfortable and enjoyable evening for Oxford United fans. Oxford are 5th in Sky Bet League One and look set to make another run at getting into the EFL Championship. We seem a match for anyone in League One, but let’s not forget that Wimbledon have not played for 20 days, but Oxford took advantage in some style. Credit to Karl Robinson who is always a pantomime villain again the Dons, and let’s not forget it is a bit of revenge as the Crazy Gang beat us 3-1 earlier on in the League 1 season. MK Dons 1 2 Oxford United - review - Brilliant Battling Win for OUFC
Welcome back to another review of another Oxford United game. Today the yellows were away at Milton Keynes Dons. Its finished MK Dons 1-2 Oxford United. A Brilliant Battling Win for OUFC as they continue their fine form in Sky bet League One. They are up to 5th in the EFL League One table, but that does not tell the whole story as they were pushed hard by MK Dons at Stadium MK today. Hiram Boateng opened the scoring early for MKDons and for large parts of the first half passed the ball around fantastically well and Oxford were chasing shadows. Oxford Utd fans were fearing the worst, but last week they came back from behind to draw at Sunderland, today they came from behind to win for the first time this season. Matty Taylor scored a header and Mark Sykes capitalised on some slack MK passing to score the winner. Milton Keynes posed a threat throughout the game, and Oxford needed goalkeeper Simon Eastwood to produce a fine save to preserve the points. Oxford got their first win at Stadium MK and Karl Robinson gets a win at his old stomping ground. Premier League Predictions - Gameweek 16 - Liverpool vs Aston Villa
Welcome to another round of Premier League Predictions with Very Biased Opinions. Its Gameweek 16 in the EPL and all eyes are on Liverpool vs Aston Villa as Steven Gerrard brings his Aston Villa side to Anfield. Will he cause an upset? Norwich City vs Manchester United, this will surely be an easy win for Man Utd in EPLGW16. Ralph Rangnick has more time to get his pressing game into the Man U and Norwich are just not going to be good enough. Man City returned to the top of the Premiership Table and they if you are doing EPL picks then surely you have to put this down as a home win. Chelsea had a poor week. They fell to third in the EPL and Thomas Tuchel will want a response and they should get on against a Leeds side that can barely keep 11 players fit. Arsenal have been throwing away leads lately and will be hoping that this won’t be the case when they face ralph hasenhüttl's Southampton side who were unlucky in their last game against Brighton. Speaking of the Seagulls, they are the draw kings and if they had a player that could finish, they may well be in 4th place. Can they get another draw against a rejuvenated Tottenham Hotspur side? The trickiest games to predict in my premier league predictions are Brentford vs Watford & Crystal Palace vs Everton, both these games could go either way. Hopefully Shandon Baptiste scores again for the Bees and maybe Rafa can ease some more pressure making it back to back wins for the Toffees. Newcastle finally got a EPL 2021/2022 win at the 15th time of asking. They could back that up against Leicester who have problems at the back, but still look dangerous going forward. And finally, its Burnley vs West Ham United. David Moyes had a brilliant win for his Hammers side over Chelsea, they will want to travel north to Burnley to try and further cement a Champions League place. Burnley will be lucky to get anything. Welcome to another review of another Oxford United game. Today the yellows were away at Doncaster Rovers. OUFC made hard work of it as it finished Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Oxford United. After a decent 1-1 draw against Sunderland, OUFC travelled to face a Doncaster side who have been really struggling in League One this season. Everyone connected to Oxford Utd were hoping for an easy win, and after the first half it looked like it would be the case. Rovers were all over the place and Oxford led 1-0 thanks to Mark Sykes. Despite dominating Oxford could not kill the game off as Gavin Whyte and Matty Taylor both had goals ruled out for offside. Donny were much better in the 2nd half and DRFC equalise through Branden Horton. Its looked like 2 points dropped for Oxford as the game became more frustrating, but the GOAT stepped up. That’s right James Henry scored a great winner which meant OUFC finally got the win in this Sky Bet League One game. Oxford move into the EFL league One playoffs.
