This was Oxford United's worst performance of the season. 2022 has not started well as Oxford lost at Lincoln City today. It was a DISASTER for OUFC Terrible, Dreadful Awful are just some of the words that came to mind watching EFL league One match between Lincoln City vs Oxford United. the game finished Lincoln City 2-0 Oxford United and it was a deserved victory for the Imps. Oxford Utd lost Brannagan to injury and Herbie got a straight red card which means he is out for 3 games. Oxford Utd are going to have to quickly forget this one as right from the start when Matty Taylor missed a one on one chance Oxford were off it. Credit to Lincoln and former U's boss Michael Appleton. They have struggled this season but Anthony Scully and Morgan Whittaker on debut got the goals. Chris Maguire was brilliant too.
