An own goal by Danial Barlaser meant OUFC went one up in the game but a goal before half time and a penalty in the second half means the miracle of a play-off attempt comes to a conclusion. #oxfordutd #mkdons #leagueone In this epsiode of the podcast, we will be breaking down, analysing and reacting to Oxford United vs MK Dons in this huge game in Sky Bet League One! It was another must win for OUFC as they hunt of an unlikely (but still possible) EFL League One play-off place come the end of the season and Billy Bodin provided the goods with a 86th minute winner. MK Dons came into this game with a defeat against Sheffield Wednesday and their hope for an automatic promotion place is looking more difficult by the week. Scott Twine, who has been in exceptional form this season, was kept quiet by the likes of Brown, Moore and McNally. It was definitely a game of two halves with MK Dons looking the much better side in the first 45 mins but in the second Karl Robinson's men turned on the heat and won the game brilliantly. Oxford Utd were well below par in EFL League One this afternoon but Kieran McKenna's side couldn't see out a 1-0 lead. A Herbie Kane corner and a Luke McNally header see's OUFC clinch a robbery of a result at the business end of the season. Karl Robinson wasn't pleased with the result but insisted that this result could be pivotal in Oxford's play-off push. Ipswich Town saw this as a must win game, with still remaining hopes to finish in the top six and when Bersant Celina took the lead for the visitors in looked nailed on that they would travel home with all 3 points. Wes Burns was the stand-out man for Ipswich Town this afternoon and caused Ryan Williams plenty of problems down that left-hand side.
