Note: This interview was conducted BEFORE & DURING English clubs started pulling out of the European Super League. With all the crazy stuff going on off the pitch this week, it's easy to forget that we played last weekend and suffered a disappointing defeat at relegation candidates Newcastle. Five minutes of first-half madness gave the Magpies a 2-0 lead at the break, despite us dominating possession for much of the opening 45 minutes. A fight-back to 2-2 followed in the second-half, but Joe Willock came off the bench to win it for Steve Bruce's men. So this week, we were joined by The Athletic's West Ham correspondent, Roshane Thomas, who gave us his thoughts on the ESL, the performance against Newcastle and what he thinks David Moyes needs to do to boost our top four chances as we approach the final six games of the Premier League season. The first goal was very poor from Wednesday defensively and Dykes heads it into the bottom corner to make it QPR 1-0 SWFC! Sheffield Wednesday's first goal was a great finish from Windass into the bottom corner to make it QPR 1-1 SWFC! The second QPR goal was a poor shot from Johansen with a deflection and Joe Wildsmith maybe should have saved it, either it made the score QPR 2-1 SWFC! The third QPR goal was another header from Dykes and poor again from Wednesday defensively to make it QPR 3-1 SWFC! The forth and final goal was a nice finish from Willock to make it QPR 4-1 SWFC! After that 5-0 win against Cardiff City, Sheffield Wednesday have a had a massive turn around this week with an awful performance against QPR! Are we Already Relegated? But true to form, Spurs weren’t able to defend a lead and after leading 2-1 conceded an 85th minute equaliser to of all people Joe Willock, on-loan to Newcastle from Arsenal! Spurs started slowly again and Newcastle took the lead through Joelinton, a striker who seems to reserve his goals for Spurs – 2 of his totals of 4 have come against the Lilywhites! Having conceded the opening goal, we stormed back with a couple of goals from who else Harry Kane, but the inability to defend a lead which has plagued us all season resulted us in conceding the equaliser and dropping another 2 points. This brings to 15 the number of points we have dropped kin the league from winning positions. Once again, other than Kane there were few good performances; Joe Rodon played well as did PEH and Reguillon (going forward, defending was a bit shaky!).
