If we talk about their form the Kiwis have lost three of their last five completed ODIs. Kane Williamson will be seen leading the team again in this format. All-rounder Henry Shipley has earned his maiden national call-up. Blair Tickner has come in as the replacement for injured Adam Milne. Matt Henry has also been ruled of the series with an injury. Pakistan: Pakistan is going to play ODI cricket after five long months. The last time they played the Netherlands and hence this was going to be a tough challenge for the home team. Notably in their last five ODI matches Pakistan has won all. Babar Azam will be leading the team and Shan Masood will be seen as his deputy. This will be the first Test series between the two teams after 2019. As we know Bangladesh have evolved their white-ball game to a great extent in recent years. Their growth from rookie to maestro particularly in the ODIs has been phenomenal to say the least. However unfortunately they are yet to find the cheat code to succeed in the purest format often failing to deliver against quality Test teams. Although the Tigers began the year with a bang by upsetting New Zealand in their backyard they suffered setbacks throughout the rest of the year. More importantly they unlike India have failed to showcase their prowess on home soil and would therefore like to execute the same in this series. On the other hand India have blown hot and cold in Tests this year. Although they had a disastrous start losing two consecutive Tests in South Africa they came back remarkably securing a two-nil whitewash over Sri Lanka on home soil. However the biggest challenge for the Indians will be the absence of their key players Rohit Sharma Jasprit Bumrah Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja who have been sidelined due to injury. However the likes of Saurabh Kumar and Abhimanyu Easwaran have vast experience in red-ball cricket and are therefore pretty much capable of making a mark in the series. Considering the strengths of both teams we reckon India will start as the firm favourites to win this match. But can the Tigers force an upset? IPL 2023 Auction Date, Retention Rules, Remaining Purse, Teams List - introduction of two new teams this year, the tournament became a 10-team affair and it will continue to be the same in IPL 2023. Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants were the two new franchises introduced in IPL 2022 and both the teams ended up qualifying for the playoffs in their debut season They even gave a run for their money to the perennial champions like Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in their debut season. Consequently, it was the first instance in the history of the IPL when both CSK and MI didn't feature in the playoffs stages. Such was the level of competition in the IPL 2022. IPL 2022 mega auction was held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru and as many as 600 cricketers went at the auction table as the 10 franchises build their squads. For IPL 2022, the final list that was released by the BCCI comprised 228 capped players, 355 uncapped players and 7 players from Associate Nations. A total of 370 Indian players and 220 overseas players were up for grab in the auction. During the two-day bidding process, 204 players were sold and INR 5,51,70,00,000 was splurged amongst the ten franchises. Young Indian cricketers dominated the proceedings at the auction, with Ishan Kishan attracting the topmost bid of INR 15.25 Crore which saw him return to Mumbai Indians.
