De Kock and Klaasen steadied the ship Ravi Bishnoi who is making his debut was slightly wayward initially allowing the batters to sweep and cut he was bowling a bit too quick on a pitch that was turning square. He made the corrections and got the big wicket of de Kock who was just 2 runs away from his 50 after facing 54 balls. David Miller joined Klaasen in the middle and together they stitched a brilliant partnership and took South Africa past the 200 runs mark. Both got to their respective fifties and changed their gears towards the end smashing bowlers all around the park!! There were a couple of catches dropped by the Indian side which eventually cost them an extra 10-20 runs. Miller finished with an unbeaten 75 of 63 alongside Klaasen who remained not out as well on 74 of 65 South Africa got to 249/4 in their allowed over of 40. Shardul Thakur was the pick of the bowlers for India he finished with 2 for 35 of his 8 overs. Kuldeep and Bishnoi picked up a wicket each Bishnoi was a bit expensive giving away 69 runs of his 8 overs. Siraj and Avesh went wicketless. Klusener, though, will be worried about how the top order has shaped up against India's new-ball attack. Yes, Regis Chakabva lost both the tosses but the individual scores belie the playing conditions on offer. Only one of the top-four batters has gone past single digits in the series so far. And that's also constricted Sikandar Raza and Sean Williams, the two best batters in the side. With the series won, India don't have much stake in the fixture except perhaps giving some more game-time to their ever expanding bench strength. KL Rahul, who opened in the second ODI at the cost of Shubman Gill, would like some runs against his name while the selectors will have their keen eyes on the one-upmanship between Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar. Tee Kaitano was dismissed for 7 runs in 32 balls. After the first wicket fell early, now Wesley Madhivire came out to bat on behalf of Zimbabwe's team. But his fellow player and Zimbabwe's second opener batsman Innocent Kaiya was caught by Shardul Thakur at the hands of Sanju Samson. Innocent Kaiya got out after scoring 16 runs in 27 balls. So in the same over, new batsman and Zimbabwe captain Regis Chakbwa was also dismissed by Shardul Thakur on the sixth ball of his same over. Regis Chakabwa got out after scoring just 2 runs in 5 balls. Indian fast bowling completely shook Zimbabwe's top order. No Zimbabwean batsman was able to stand in front of the Indian bowlers.
