Damn COVID getting in the way with everything. In this video I talk about and share what the National Hockey League (NHL) has announced concerning the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks where the game originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 was postponed. The game was originally announced to be postponed shortly before when the game was scheduled to start as the Vancouver Canucks has a couple of players and a member of the coaching staff entering COVID protocols. The fallout of it is the Vancouver Canucks are off until Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 and won't be playing again until Thursday, April 8th, 2021. They will be missing four games that's originally scheduled where the NHL hasn't announced when it'll be rescheduled yet including the Calgary Flames game. Adam Gaudette of the Vancouver Canucks did receive a positive COVID test ahead of the scheduled game. Travis Hamonic and a member of the Vancouver Canucks coaching staff we're notified that they needed to enter NHL COVID protocol before the scheduled game which prompted the postponement of the game. This now marks the second time a team in the North Division being affected by COVID protocols. The Montreal Canadiens we're shut down from March 22nd-28th and had games rescheduled. I also outline my plans on what I'll be doing with My Calgary Flames In Six as this game was postponed. Hopefully that NHL will be able to get all 56 games in for all 31 teams despite some speed bumps and COVID protocols and even the odd weather delays with a snowstorm in Texas back in February. Yes, a snow storm in Texas happened. https://www.nhl.com/news/calgary-vancouver-nhl-game-postponed-due-to-covid-19-protocol/c-323128512 (Originally accessed Thursday, April 1st, 2021) Please like and subscribe if you enjoy my content to follow along with this Calgary sports fans journey.
