Stockton Heat Quick Hits - 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs: Second Round Recap
After previewing the Stockton Heat series vs the Bakersfield Condors in the previous video. My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 61-66 (S04E12)
For the next episode with My Calgary Flames In Six, I say there's a mixed bag when in comes to both the results and the strength of schedule at play. Also in the middle of the episode there's the NHL Trade Deadline and Sean Monahan found himself a healthy scratch for a couple of games. May signal that Sean Monahan's time with the Calgary Flames is coming to close after this season. Couple of things to also highlight this stretch of games is Calle Jarnkrok made his Calgary Flames debut and one particular game had a throwback feel and begging for a certain playoff series. Calgary Flames still continued their run to solidify themselves a top of the Pacific Division as they get closer to clinching a playoff spot for the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Still have a month to go for the regular season and many possible outcomes on who the Calgary Flames could draw in the playoffs. My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 55-60 (S04E11)
Seems very quick that I'm back with another episode of My Calgary Flames In Six but the Calgary Flames did have a stretch of games where they played 5 games in 7 nights which almost encompasses a whole entire episode. During that busy stretch the Calgary Flames did play most at home with a mixture of strength of opponents ranging from the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Detroit Red Wings. Calgary Flames ended that busy stretch with a road game against the Colorado Avalanche and it did look like they ran out of gas but came out well all things considered. Calgary Flames wrap this game recap segment with a game against the New Jersey Devils. My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 37-42 (S04E08)
For the next episode of My Calgary Flames In Six. We head to the halfway point of the season and head into the All-Star Game with the Calgary Flames looking good in a playoff spot heading into the second half of the season. The last episode told that the Calgary Flames aren't quite there yet to be a top contender but things did look encouraging given the strength of schedule with some travel for this episode. Calgary Flames also did make some history in this episode by setting a franchise record of 62 shots on net against the Columbus Blue Jackets game. For this episode not only I quickly put it together due to being pressed for time and tired from the work week. I skipped the stats and standings for the All-Star Game instead for this episode. My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 31-36 (S04E07)
The Calgary Flames had one of their biggest tests of the 2021-22 season by facing three straight games against the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes on the road. Those teams are looking like top Stanley Cup contenders at this point and those games we're a great measuring stick to see where the Calgary Flames stack up. Spoiler alert, they're not quite there just yet. After the tough road trip the Calgary Flames have three more games in Alberta including two at home and another Battle of Alberta up in Edmonton to wrap up this segment. Longer gap between episodes as a couple more games got postponed but the ten games that got postponed have been rescheduled that I've covered in a separate video. Calgary Flames still have some work to do if they're looking to get into the playoffs and how February and March does when playing catch-up from the postponed games, mostly at home will determine that. Finally the Calgary Flames have got six games in that I'm back for another episode of My Calgary Flames In Six recapping how games 25-30 went. Before when the Calgary Flames had to deal with a COVID outbreak they we're on a four game losing streak. However after being off for almost three weeks they picked up wins in Seattle and Chicago as we head into 2022. Also things are looking great with the Stockton Heat in the American Hockey League as they're one of the best teams in the AHL.
