Sheffield United vs Arsenal 0-3 Post Match Pundits Analysis
Sheffield United vs Arsenal 0-3 Post Match Pundits Analysis

Sheffield United vs Arsenal 0-3 Sheffield United vs Arsenal 0-3 Post Match Pundits Analysis Arsenal eased to a comfortable 3-0 win over Sheffield United on Sunday thanks to two goals from Alexandre Lacazette and a tap-in from Gabriel Martinelli at Bramall Lane. Arsenal have actually won a game of football without there being much fuss or drama. It was a pleasant and almost ‘normal’ evening for the Gunners and ok, it was against the team at the bottom of the league but going into the fixture it still looked like one that Arsenal might make difficult for themselves at some point. But Mikel Arteta’s side made it look easy, scored some well-worked goals and jumped back into the top half after shrugging off a difficult week. The impending sense of doom would have been surrounding Arteta ahead of the Europa League quarter-final second leg in Prague on Thursday had Arsenal slipped up here. Bukayo Saka’s substitution may have just been a precaution rather than a cause for concern but this was job well done. Arsenal fans will have loved seeing Gabriel Martinelli back on the pitch tonight. The Brazilian was one of the hottest prospects in Europe before suffering a long term knee injury in June 2020. It’s been a long road for the 19-year-old and he’s not quite been able to get back into the team on a consistent basis, making just seven appearances in the league this season. But he was afforded a rare opportunity from the start tonight and has more than staked his claim for regular inclusion between now and the end of the season. Playing off the left-hand side, where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been operating recently, Martinelli was direct every time he received the ball as he intended to make penetrate the Blades defence. Martinelli consistently plays at a high tempo and the goal will do wonders for his confidence. Aubameyang missed tonight’s game with the flu, if he does make it back for Thursday then Arteta has a huge decision to make. Wengerball That period was many moons ago now but Alexandre Lacazette’s opener tonight gave us all a throwback to that era. A neat one-touch passing move between Lacazette, Bukayo Saka and Dani Ceballos ended with the Frenchman placing the ball past Aaron Ramsdale in the blink of an eye. It wasn’t quite Jack Wilshere’s goal v Norwich from 2015 (the best ever Premier League goal? Answers on a postcard) but it wasn’t far off. This Arsenal team are capable of it – now we need to see it more often. #Arsenal #MikelArteta #PremierLeague

CHECK IND VS ENG 1st T20I playing 11 and head to head details here For skipper Virat Kohli, the primary aim will be to get an idea of his core group of players going into the ICC T20 World Cup in October. And he couldn't have hoped for a better opposition than a world-class English white-ball side under Eoin Morgan, ready to be way more challenging on flatter tracks which promise a run-feast. "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to play in conditions where we will be playing the World Cup," England's explosive batsman-keeper Jos Buttler had recently said, shrugging off the debacle that was the Test series. Check IND vs ENG 1st T20I match, toss time and live streaming details here For Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma, it's all about focusing on the present. "If we focus on the present, the future will take care of itself. It's a long series and it's important to see where we stand as a team and individual," Rohit said. While there are more advantages of having multiple options, fashionably described as a "happy headache" for any captain, there are a few pitfalls that come with such a situation. The Indian team understands this fully well, having burnt its hands during the 2019 World Cup. Check IND vs ENG latest news updates here It was one event where till last moment, they didn't have a settled number four. So it will only be fair that Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri, in their minds, decide who will be Rohit's opening partner going into the mega event. The choice is down to KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan. By pure cricketing logic and the skill sets that he is blessed with, Rahul's selection in any white ball playing XI is a no-brainer but then there is Dhawan, who has been a terrific performer at global events and one of the senior-most in the side. IND vs ENG T20Is: Full schedule, timings, squads, free live telecast If Kohli decides to accommodate Dhawan, then he will have to push Rahul down at No.4 as the Bengaluru man's place in the playing XI at this point of time is non-negotiable. It's a tough call that Kohli needs to take as playing both of them would mean no place for either Shreyas Iyer or Indian fans' sentimental favourite Suryakumar Yadav, who is finally set to wear the India Blues after years of hardship. The option of explosive hitting, that one among Shreyas and Surya can provide at No 4 or 5, is very enticing and the team management for one wouldnt like to miss out on an opportunity to exploit that advantage. The Motera track will certainly be a flat deck, suiting the needs of the shortest format and with a lot of batting firepower in both sides, the Ahmedabad skyline could witness a lot of fireworks from both ends. Whether it's vice-captain Rohit, the indomitable duo of Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya for the hosts or captain Morgan, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Dawid Malan and Jason Roy at the other end, the kookaburra white might find itself in the stands more often than not. India: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma (vc), KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Tewatia, Ishan Kishan (reserve wkeeper). England: Eoin Morgan (captain), Joss Buttler, Jason Roy, Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, Reece Topley, Chris Jordan, Mark Wood, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Sam Billings, Jonny Bairstow, Jofra Archer. NEW ZEALAND VS AUSTRALIA 3rd T20 LIVE MATCH TODAY | NZ VS AUS 3rd T20 (AUS VS NZ LIVE)
NEW ZEALAND VS AUSTRALIA 3rd T20 LIVE MATCH TODAY | NZ VS AUS 3rd T20 (AUS VS NZ LIVE)

NEW ZEALAND VS AUSTRALIA 2ND T20 LIVE MATCH TODAY | NZ VS AUS 2ND T20 (AUS VS NZ LIVE) #NZvsAUS#3rdT20#LIVE PREVIEW 18:00 Local Time, 05:00 GMT, 10:30 IST: Two games, two losses. Is experimenting going to cost Australia the series? They rested the likes of Smith, Starc and Cummins. The two defeats have been because they conceded over 180 and the batting has fallen apart. The inexperienced bowling line up has not been able to cope with a strong New Zealand side and the ground dimensions, while the top order batting has looked out of sorts especially skipper Aaron Finch. The home side are ticking all the boxes as they build up steam towards the World T20. Conway is having a dream run with the bat, Phillips too while Guptill and Neesham got runs under their belt in the previous game. Southee and Boult have been consistent with the ball while the spin twins have strangled the opposition in the middle overs. A win today and that will be the series sealed. Toss and teams coming up.. Stay tuned! Preview: In the two games of the five-match series so far, New Zealand have brought in a lot more dynamism and ability in the myriad phases of the shortest format compared to their opposition. Australia have suffered two contrasting, but equally sapping defeats, leaving them on the cusp of surrendering the series at the earliest juncture. In the first T20I, the Australian bowlers were guilty of letting New Zealand bounce back from an early top-order collapse, and in the second game they just failed to put a lid on the run-making in the unforgiving venue of Dunedin, making its T20I debut. In both these games though, worrying patterns have emerged for Australia - their lacklustre middle-overs bowling. A lot of New Zealand's success in the past week has been down to acing the middle-overs with the bat - they smashed 80 off 8 overs between overs 7 and 15 in the first game, and managed 104 in the same period in the second game. While Australia too have had some success in this phase with the bat, it's the lack of control with the ball that has hurt them the most. Besides getting his bowlers to tighten up in this important period of play, Aaron Finch will also look to shrug off his prolonged rut with the bat. The Aussie skipper's poor form from BBL 2020-21 [179 runs in 13 innings at an average of 13.77] has spilled over to the T20I series, scoring 1 and 12 in the series so far. Though Australia find themselves backed into a corner, there is still a silver lining if they opt to look at it that way. The remaining three T20Is will all be played at the same venue (Westpac stadium in Wellington) owing to Covid-19-related restrictions. If Australia can find a winning combination and perform once, they could perhaps back themselves to do it a couple of more times and stage a dramatic comeback in the series. As for New Zealand, the worries are negligible. Martin Guptill struck form in the second fixture, Devon Conway's streak of five successive half-centuries got broken but he now has the added motivation of playing in his home venue (albeit behind closed doors), Tim Seifert has happy memories at the Cake Tin (colloquial name for Wellington stadium) and Jimmy Neesham is on a quest to add multiple dimensions to his finishing game. If there's a worry, it is in the form of Kyle Jamieson's bowling returns so far (1 for 32 and 0 for 56), but considering New Zealand's series lead, he should be afforded another chance to revert to translating his impressive potential into performances, li Match InfoMatch: NZ vs AUS, 3rd T20I, Australia tour of New Zealand, 2021Date:Thursday, February 25, 2021Toss:Australia won the toss and opt to bowlTime:6:00 AMVenue:University Oval, DunedinUmpires:Chris Gaffaney, Shaun HaigThird Umpire:Chris BrownMatch Referee:Jeff CroweNew Zealand Squad:Playing:Martin Guptill, Tim Seifert (wk), Kane Williamson (c), Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Trent BoultBench:Mark Chapman, Hamish BennettAustralia Squad:Playing:Matthew Wade (wk), Aaron Finch (c), Josh Philippe, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Ashton Agar, Daniel Sams, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, Adam ZampaBench:Ben McDermott, Andrew Tye, D Arcy Short, Riley Meredith, Tanveer Sangha, Ashton Turner, Jason BehrendorffVenue GuideStadium:University OvalCity:DunedinCapacity:3500 (Increased to 6000 by temporary seating)Ends:Southern End, Northern EndHosts to:Otago, Otago VoltsAlso Hosts:Rugby Follow me on ~Our Facebook Page :\ https://www.facebook.com/crictales ~Instagram Id : https://www.instagram.com/crictales/ ~SnapChat : https://www.snapchat.com/add/wali_crictales ~Twitter username : @crictales OUR CHANNELS CRICTALES https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEU2_ogb5k4k1qC82y8jZ8A CRICTALES LIVE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChorvwD5QrJ8mDTvSS70KhA Techno Records https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnHzxEsUqjDdZ8cPjH4NBEQ Thanks for Watching Regards Wasif Ali
