Im Jahr 2004 setzte Michael Schumachers Schuberth RF 1.5 Helm neue Maßstäbe in der Formel-1-Sicherheit. Mit einem unglaublichen Preis von $20.000 wurde er aus 18 Schichten T1000-Carbonfaser gefertigt – so stark, dass er das Gewicht eines Panzers aushielt. Schuberth testete diese Behauptung und bewies die außergewöhnliche Haltbarkeit. Doch dieser Helm war mehr als nur stark – er rettete Leben. Beim Großen Preis von Ungarn 2009 überlebte Felipe Massa einen Unfall mit über 260 KM/H, als eine Feder seinen Kopf traf. Dank Schumachers Helmdesign konnte Massa das Krankenhaus wenige Tage später verlassen. Dieser revolutionäre Helm wurde zum Goldstandard für F1-Fahrer und setzte neue Maßstäbe in der Sicherheit des Motorsports.
