After a horrendous ODI series New Zealand started the shorter formats with a win under their name. Batting first the fifties from Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell helped the Kiwis to post a total of 176 runs. India failed to chase it down despite valiant efforts from Suryakumar Yadav and Washington Sundar. The Men in Blue bounced back in the 2nd T20I after they managed to make a heavy weather of a paltry total. It was Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya who helped the side to go over the line by keeping their calm. While the visitors will be looking to redeem themselves from the ODI series against India the 'Men in Blue' will look to keep their record intact. Team news India: The hosts left out Umran Malik for a second spinner in Yuzvendra Chahal and the pitch again will dictate that decision. Team news New Zealand: The visitors have played the same side on what were slightly different surfaces and they are unlikely to make any change for the decider.
