NEW: We are now livestreaming at https://www.twitch.tv/letsgowarriors ...This was like a 20-minute therapy session for Golden State Warriors fans lol. Sorry for no video for the first 3 minutes -- Warriors PR first of all let half the reporters in late as we were all further down the hall with employees occupying a lot of seats and a youth camp going on. Secondly, I misplaced my line in adapter while scrambling to plug into the mic box. One of those days! OAKLAND, CA — Dr. Bob Myers with the 20-minute therapy session for #Warriors fans. I found this excerpt a little funny because Myers mentioned Klay Thompson “CLEARLY” but tbh can’t quite figure out if he was included as a “leader” 😂 But not nitpicking here, just rather pointing out that regardless if he’s the best Robin ever to Steph Curry’s Batman — and certainly Klay has stepped up in the past such as when Draymond Green and Kevin Durant infamously got into it in Los Angeles — Thompson will *have* to step up as a leader to not just Jordan Poole at the 2-guard spot, but really all the rest of the guys, whenever Thompson comes back. As Myers said, the franchise is going from second-oldest to second-youngest in a heartbeat, so check out the Q&A to feel better about it all, even regarding Durant’s departure. You’ll be as excited as he says Steve Kerr is for the challenge... Let’s go #DubNation!!! 👌💛💙 From Golden State Warriors (0-0) practice facility, approximately two weeks after official end of 2019 NBA season and start of free agency, at Rakuten Performance Center in Oakland, CA. NOTE: Sometimes it is difficult to get closer to the interviewee when there is a large scrum. In these cases, we will do our best to obtain the audio from another reporter or the official Warriors audio at https://soundcloud.com/warriors. Please note that it may take some time to splice the audio with the video. Finally, the foremost reason why the video is often times shaky is because we are simultaneously filming on other platforms such as Twitter or Instagram. This account was built on Twitter (over 140,000 followers), so we will always make them a priority and timeliness of those tweets are just as important as getting this HD video processed and uploaded as well -- so if you could please be more appreciative of our inside looks as no other media companies currently do this, it will allow us to have faith in what we’re doing and continue the endeavor. Derrick Rose, as far as I can tell, is posting the best on-off splits of his career. Even better than his ones from his MVP-level prime in Chicago. Part of that is because he is a total beast who somehow came back from the dead to destroy Father Time forever, and another part of that is that for much of the season he's been backing up Jeff Teague who doesn't seem to want to actually do anything on the basketball court. But it's not like we need advanced stats to tell us how good Rose is this year. We can see with our own eyes. When we get told that he's the most efficient player in the league outside of the paint, we believe it, but we also already kind of knew that. Anyone who watches his highlights knows that he never misses those pullup jumpers that he loves to take. People who watch his games might say that he sometimes misses those, but you know what I say to that? FAKE NEWS. SAD! This is another sick game for him that maybe could've been sicker if he had been a little more aggressive with the three-point chucking. It's been almost a month since he had more than 5 attempts from deep; shouldn't one of the most potent three-shooters be taking a few more of them? I know I'm nitpicking, but I want to see these 30-burgers turned into 40-burgers and that's the quickest way to do it. All clips property of the NBA. No copyright infringement is intended.
