I found this excerpt a little funny because Myers mentioned Klay Thompson “CLEARLY” but tbh can’t quite figure out if he was included as a “leader” 😂 But not nitpicking here, just rather pointing out that regardless if he’s the best Robin ever to Steph Curry’s Batman — and certainly Klay has stepped up in the past such as when Draymond Green and Kevin Durant infamously got into it in Los Angeles — Thompson will *have* to step up as a leader to not just Jordan Poole at the 2-guard spot, but really all the rest of the guys, whenever Thompson comes back. As Myers said, the franchise is going from second-oldest to second-youngest in a heartbeat, so check out the Q&A to feel better about it all, even regarding Durant’s departure.
