✅ Subscribe ©Titans Volleyball LIFE ➤ https://goo-gl.me/bxJU1 ===================================================== | Goiania, Brazil, June 3, 2018 - Isac Santos smashed home a dramatic match winning ace as Brazil sensationally came from two sets down to send the USA crashing to their first VNL defeat and seal an epic 3-2 triumph (21-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 20-18). Wallace was again the leading marksman for the Olympic champions, whacking down 18 spikes, two blocks and an ace to help the Brazilians leapfrog their rivals and move into joint-top place alongside Poland. Mauricio Silva was also a constant threat with 13 spikes, five blocks and two aces but the Americans will be wondering long into the night how they let this one slip having established such a dominant lead. Matthew Anderson’s 23 points (22 spikes and an ace) together with sterling efforts from Aaron Russell (16 points) and Thomas Jaeschke (18 points) were the foundations of a typically robust US display, though 40 errors from their side of the net ultimately cost them dear as did having to endure two long, emotional five set matches following their thrilling escape against Japan on Friday. With news filtering through of Poland’s surprise defeat to Germany, the US knew a straight-sets triumph would be enough to send John Speraw’s team to the top of the VNL heading into the third week of competition. Yet when the two best sides on the planet lock horns, it’s never straightforward. The US certainly deserved their two set lead - Anderson was spiking with serious force while Jeffrey Jendryk was a constant in defense. A packed home crowd certainly loved the opening exchanges although tensions boiled over at 21-19 in the first. A disputed call by the Brazilians was unable to be contested as all the video challenges had been used. Cue a furious row between Lipe, Wallace - Brazil’s most potent threat once again - and referee Luis Gerardo Macias which resulted in the former receiving a yellow card. Replays showed the call was indeed correct yet the Olympic champions were still furious. There was more arguing at 24-12 - this time Macias was unsure himself and used the technology but the point went to the US as did the first set. Coach Sperow urged his side - for whom Anderson had already racked up five spikes and an ace - to target Lipe who was struggling to keep his cool in the red hot heat of battle. The US , however, just blocked everything out and continued to forge ahead. Wing spiker Thomas Joeschke was getting in on the act, a fearsome spike extended his side’s lead to 15-10 and although Isac was blocking well, Brazil were unable to stop their rivals from doubling their lead. Ironically it was a Lipe error when he got in Isac’s way which sealed the second set. Brazil had to improve or risk sliding to their second defeat of the VNL - and so it proved. The excellent and consistent Wallace - two scorching spikes conjured up two set points which were saved before another hammer finish was sent long by the American defense - was the inspiration but Lipe’s ability to regain his composure was also key. You could just feel the momentum swinging towards the men in yellow and although the match was very much in the balance at 9-9, once Brazil started to extend their lead thanks to some impressive team cohesion, we were all treated to a box office fifth and decisive set. At 7-4 , Renan Dal Zotto’s side were looking like favorites to win this epic contest. A huge Anderson block brought it back to 8-6 and that reignited Speraw’s men to edge ahead 11-10 with captain David Smith also bringing his defensive skills to the table. Patch served hopelessly long at match point and then Jaeschke hit the net. Three match points were saved by Brazil in a breathless ending before a magical stuff block from Wallace gave the home team their first chance to win the match - only for Anderson to save the day once again. Another match point went begging for Brazil but then Isac sent the Goiania Arena crazy with that final ace.
Kerala Blasters vs Odisha FC 0 - 0 (8/11/2019) Goals,Highlights ISL 2019 Kerala Blasters FC and Odisha FC share the spoints in a snoozefest. An injury-laden game saw the two teams play out a pallid 0-0 draw Kerala Blasters' win-less run stretched to three games after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Odisha FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. A penalty decision that went against the hosts was the talking point of the game. The hosts named star man Bartholomew Ogbeche on the bench and Raphael Messi was handed the opportunity to lead the line. They were further forced into two substitutions in the first half, as Jairo Rodriguez and Messi Bouli were taken off the field due to injuries. The visitors too had their share of injury concerns. Aridane Santana was forced to be substituted off in the first half after a collision with Messi. The injury-laden first half lacked free-flowing football and despite their marginal dominance, Kerala were unable to cause any sort of problem for the Odisha defence. The first exciting bit of play in the game arrived in the 35th minute when India international Samad Sahal danced past three opposition players before being brought down in the box by Narayan Das. However, the referee waved play on, as a horrified Eelco Schattorie looked on in disbelief from the side-line. The second half began exactly like the first concluded – passive football and purposeless possession spiced with the occasional half-chance rendered null by poor play in the final third. However, Odisha were inches away from scoring in the 58th minute. Jerry Mawihmingthanga, who was unusually quiet throughout provided an inch-perfect cross to the far post for Nandha to hit first time. But the winger was unable to direct his shot towards goal and rattled the side-netting with his effort. Kerala were handed a chance to walk away with a late winner in injury time. Prasanth whipped in a cross into the centre of the box for Ogbeche to head towards goal. But the marksman did well to cushion it to an unmarked Rahul who pulled the trigger. But Francisco Dorronsoro reacted in time to block the shot and keep his clean-sheet. There will be more than mere discussions about the penalty that should have gone Kerala’s way but the scoreline otherwise reflects the game perfectly. ••••••• SOCIAL MEDIA ••••••••• ➡️ Facebook:- https://www.facebook.com/iamnirbhayjain ➡️ Instagram:- https://www.instagram.com/iamnirbhayjain If you're a company interested in working with me, or collaborating on a video, feel free to email me at nirbhayjain00786@gmail.com •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• *Hit The Bell Icon To Get My Video Notifications* *Tell me how you liked the video or if you want any kind of particular video in the comments below* *SUBSCRIBE* #isl2019 #KeralaBlasters #OdishaFC

And now he has another two for his enormous collection. On Monday, the Barça striker was the star attraction at the Marca 2017/18 Football Awards, held at the Convent dels Àngels in Barcelona. Top scorer First, there was the award for finishing, yet again, as the leading goalscorer in the Spanish first division. With 34 goals in 36 games, which also won him the Golden Shoe as Europe’s top marksman, Messi adds this to his four previous conquests of the Pichichi in 2009/10, 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2017/18. It puts him up there with Alfredo Di Stefano, Hugo Sánchez and Quini, the only other men to have topped the scoring charts in La Liga five times, and just one short of Telmo Zarra, who won a record six with Athletic Bilbao in the 50s and 60s. Player of the season The Argentinian was also honoured with the Trofeo Alfredo Di Stefano as player of the season, an award that he has won more than any other player. ---- FC Barcelona on Social Media Subscribe to our official channel http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c... Birmingham 2-2 Blackburn: Che Adams earns late point for Blues. Birmingham striker Che Adams added to his growing reputation by scoring twice in a 2-2 home draw against dogged Blackburn. Rovers had to show commendable spirit after Adams put Birmingham in the driving seat in the first half. They deservedly equalised in the 52nd minute when their veteran skipper Charlie Mulgrew curled home direct from a corner, with Danny Graham then putting them ahead in the 82nd minute. But Adams, the subject of interest from Scotland under former Blues manager Alex McLeish, scored his 21st goal of the season in the 83rd minute to salvage a draw. Birmingham came close to opening their account in the ninth minute when Jota's free-kick into the heart of Blackburn's defence resulted in Rovers' Spanish goalkeeper David Raya making a top-quality save to keep out a Lukas Jutkiewicz header. Raya soon showed his quality again, diving to stop a Maxime Colin shot. The ball ran towards Blackburn's net only for the alert Raya to scoop the ball off the line. Birmingham had their tails up and in the 16th minute their ace marksman Adams notched the opening goal. Gary Gardner won the ball off Amari'i Bell and slipped a pass down the channel to Adams, who smartly scored with a low cross shot to the right of Raya. Blackburn had little choice but to drop back on the defensive to contain Birmingham, though they still carried a threat and in the 31st minute, leading scorer Graham was only denied an equaliser by a diving save from Lee Camp after the home defence had been caught napping. Seven minutes into the second half Mulgrew produced a perfect corner from the right which went into the net despite several Birmingham players on the line. Raya produced another quality save from Kerim Mrabti while another Birmingham substitute, Connor Mahoney, also went close. Graham then brought the game alight by putting Blackburn into an 82nd-minute lead with a low angled shot only for Adams to pop up a minute later to score from a narrow angle.
