Leicester City sit in 11th place on 42 points, having scored 48 goals and conceded 54. With five matches left, the Foxes trail seventh-placed West Ham United by 10 points for a spot in the Conference League Qualifiers. Leicester were defeated 3-1 in their last Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Tottenham Hotspur, extending their winless streak to four (W0 D2 L2). Everton's last league match saw them triumph 1-0 over Chelsea at home, leaving them in 18th place on 32 points, two points from safety with five matches remaining. The teams played out a 1-1 draw in their last Premier League meeting, an April match at Goodison Park. Harvey Barnes scored the Foxes' lone goal in the fifth minute. Richarlison scored the lone goal for the Toffees in the 92nd minute. Everton have got the better of Leicester of late, unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches (W2 D2 L0). Leicester are looking for their first league win in fixtures between the two clubs since December 2019. The Toffees have outscored the Foxes 6-3 during their unbeaten streak. Jamie Vardy and James Maddison have proved attacking threats for Leicester this season. Vardy is the side's top scorer with 10 goals. Nearly as impressive, Maddison has scored eight times, including two match-openers. Richarlison and Demarai Gray have been Everton's main attacking threats, scoring eight and five times, respectively. On home soil this season, Leicester have eight wins, four draws, and four losses in 16 Premier League contests. The Foxes are looking to extend a six-match home unbeaten streak (W3 D3 L0) dating to January 23 against Brighton & Hove Albion. Everton will seek to address a poor run of results on the road this season with three draws, 12 losses, and just one win in league away contests. The Toffees will be out to end a 14-match away winless streak (W0 D2 L12). The last time they earned a win away was August 2021 against Brighton & Hove Albion. In their last six league matches, Leicester have won one, drawn three and lost two. Everton, meanwhile, have won two, drawn one and lost three in their last six. #LEICESTERvsEVERTON #LIVESTREAM #PREMIERLEAGUE

Holding Leicester City to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) semi-final has boosted Roma’s chances of reaching their first UEFA competition final since the 1990/91 UEFA Cup. Sunday’s home clash against Bologna wasn’t the ideal preparation for this meeting though after manager JosĂ© Mourinho was forced to call upon rested regular starters (including Tammy Abraham and Rick Karsdorp) to help his side try and secure a crucial victory - but that was something they ultimately failed to do (0-0). That result may end up damaging their Europa League prospects for next season, placing further pressure on Roma to qualify via winning the UECL. It was also the fourth competitive fixture since the beginning of February that Roma failed to win at home (W4, D4), but with away goals no longer coming into play, their impressive unbeaten home record across their last two seasons of continental football (W9, D4) should be a well of confidence to draw from. Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers stated he and his players have “no fear” as they head to the Stadio Olimpico in pursuit of the club’s first-ever UEFA final, and it was clear where his priorities lay after resting several starters in their recent Premier League defeat at Tottenham (3-1). Rodgers lost five of his first seven clashes with “The Special One”, but he can now boast going two games undefeated against Mourinho after a 2-0 win away to Mourinho’s Tottenham side last season which preceded last week’s 1-1 draw. The Foxes’ path to this semi-final saw them follow up a home draw with a dramatic come-from-behind 2-1 win at PSV, their second away victory from three attempts in the knockout stage of this tournament. How they handle the step up to Roma could be a different story, especially when you take into account Leicester have lost all six UEFA trips they’ve played against clubs in Europe’s top-five leagues throughout their history, most recently in the Round of 16 vs French side Rennes (L 2-1). Players to watch: Lorenzo Pellegrini has scored for Roma in two UECL knockout fixtures so far. Kelechi Iheanacho was Leicester’s only goalscorer at the weekend and also found the net in their Round of 16 triumph. Hot stat: Since the beginning of the UECL’s Round of 16, 73% of the matches have seen both teams score. WILL NOT PLAY Mkhitaryan H. (Muscle Injury) Bertrand R. (Knee Injury) Ndidi W. However, Leicester’s immediate task here is to record a fourth successive Premier League (PL) home win – something they last managed in 2019/20. With Leicester’s last two home league wins also seeing them lead 2-0 at half-time, fears that they may be distracted by their European exploits seem unfounded. They also tend to reap rich rewards for starting well against midland rivals Aston Villa, especially after emerging victorious in each of the last three H2Hs to see them win the first half. Villa’s hopes of a first top-half finish in the PL since 2011 have been stunted by four straight losses. The most recent was a 4-0 drubbing vs Tottenham, and though that didn’t tell the whole story, Villa’s hopes of returning to European action after a 12-year absence are now dead and buried. With Steven Gerrard’s men recovering nothing from the last six games to see them concede first, questions as to Villa’s resilience are rife. The importance of netting first only intensifies on the road, as Villa are the only team across Europe’s five biggest domestic leagues yet to draw an away league match (W6, L10), with opening scorers winning on 15 occasions. Players to watch: A scorer in midweek, Leicester’s Harvey Barnes has struck first-half goals in three of the last four H2Hs. Also hoping to impress before next winter’s FIFA World Cup is Ollie Watkins, who netted a penalty in Villa’s last away game (86’), meaning each of his four prior away goals this term have come beyond the hour mark. Hot stat: A 60% majority of Leicester’s PL home games have produced over 1.5 first-half goals – a league-high going into the weekend. #LEICESTERvsASTONVILLA #LEICESTERCITYvsASTONVILLA #LEICESTERvsVILLA

Help The Channel Grow With A Sub & A Like On The Video! Reaching the final four of the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) remains a possibility for both PSV and Leicester City following their hard-fought goalless draw in the East Midlands. A 2-0 win over Waalwijk since has kept PSV’s faint Eredivisie title hopes alive whilst also extending their unbeaten run to 15 games (W11, D4), inspiring confidence ahead of this crunch clash. With the abolition of the away goals rule, PSV’s home advantage is much more notable given that any draw would send this game into extra-time. Unbeaten in 12 of their 17 prior home encounters with English opponents (W6, D6, L5), PSV may be quietly confident of bucking their terrible trend of being knocked out at the quarter-final stage in nine of their last ten European quarter-final appearances! The first-leg was Leicester’s first-ever clash with Dutch opponents, though they’re up against it here as they seek to improve upon a record of 13 winless games from 18 European trips (D3, L10). ‘Foxes’ boss Brendan Rodgers infamously said earlier in the season that he didn’t know what the UECL is, but now insists that his side are ‘in it to win it’. A 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the weekend gave Leicester their joint-longest unbeaten streak (W2, D2) since October, but an electric Eindhoven atmosphere should not be underestimated, especially given Leicester’s European history. That’s because they lost 1-0 away and drew at home in their most recent European quarter-final, while they’ve previously lost both of their European ties after drawing the first leg at home. Players to watch: PSV’s Joey Veerman contributed to three goals across his last four competitive appearances (G2, A1), both strikes served as team openers. Similarly quick, Leicester’s Harvey Barnes has scored his team's opener with five of his eight goals this season. Hot stat: PSV have won 14 of their 18 UEFA ties when going into the second leg at home following an away draw. WILL NOT PLAY Boscagli O. (Injury) Madueke N. (Injury) Mwene P. (Injury) Obispo A.
