Leicester City sit in 11th place on 42 points, having scored 48 goals and conceded 54. With five matches left, the Foxes trail seventh-placed West Ham United by 10 points for a spot in the Conference League Qualifiers. Leicester were defeated 3-1 in their last Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Tottenham Hotspur, extending their winless streak to four (W0 D2 L2). Everton's last league match saw them triumph 1-0 over Chelsea at home, leaving them in 18th place on 32 points, two points from safety with five matches remaining.
