Liverpool v Watford Liverpool climbed to the top of the table with their 20th win over Watford at Anfield, following Jota's header in the first half, before Fabinho scored the winner from the penalty spot. The opener left Liverpool not at their best today and Watford played well but couldn't stand a chance with Hernandez and Kucka both coming close but the Red Devils won't care as they already have three points. : Mane almost took a three-goal lead in injury time! The forward was cleared in front of goal and only had Foster to beat, but the keeper rushed in and many times his save came to perfection, simply sending the ball off Mane's toes. . SO MUCH! LIVERPOOL DOUBLE THE POTENTIAL! Fabinho stepped forward to take the penalty and his cool conversion sent the ball into the top left corner of the net, leaving Foster with no chance to make a save. It's 20 now and only a few minutes left. corner! The referee reviews the footage and scores it after Kucka clearly fouls Jota because he wasn't even looking at the ball. Liverpool can do 2 0. VAR CHECK! Kucka scored for Jota as the corner went into the box and the Watford midfielder appeared to tackle Jota to the ground. The referee didn't take it back but VAR asked the umpire to review the footage and it looked like Liverpool would have a chance to double the lead from there. #Liverpool #wetvord #HIGHLIGHTS

🔴West Ham vs Watford Preview - Live Match Watchalong

THE FACTS When is West Ham vs Watford taking place? West Ham vs Watford will take place on Tuesday 8th February 2022 at 19:45 (UK) Where is West Ham vs Watford taking place? West Ham vs Watford will take place at London Stadium in London Where can I get tickets for West Ham vs Watford? Ticket information for West Ham vs Watford can be found on each club’s official website THE LOWDOWN WEST HAM West Ham were almost victims to what would have been considered the biggest shock in FA Cup history by many at the weekend after trailing 1-0 away at Kidderminster Harriers of the sixth tier, however, the Hammers spared their blush, scoring stoppage-time goals in both the second half and second period of extra time to win 1-2 and advance to the fifth round, having been forced to bring on all their star players in the process. Centre-back Kurt Zouma was forced to play the full 120 minutes as a result of his side chasing the game, risk due to a troublesome knee injury which may see him left out of this one, but striker Michail Antonio is expected to be available following international duty. WATFORD Watford’s first match under Roy Hodgson ended in a 0-0 draw away at fellow relegation strugglers Burnley, keeping them inside the bottom three and currently one point behind Norwich. Striker Emmanuel Dennis returns from suspension for this match and is expected to be thrust into the starting line-up, potentially replacing Joao Pedro upfront. THE TEAM NEWS WEST HAM PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Benrahma, Fornals; Antonio UNAVAILABLE: Lanzini (Injured), Masuaku (Injured), Ogbonna (Injured) QUESTIONABLE: Antonio (Rested), Fabianski (Fitness), Zouma (Injured) WATFORD PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Foster; Kiko, Cathcart, Samir, Kamara; Kucka, Sissoko, Kayembe, Sema; Dennis, King UNAVAILABLE: Baah (Injured), N’Koulou (Injured), Elliot (Iniured), Sarr (Fatigue) QUESTIONABLE: Etebo (Injured) THE PREDICTION There is no denying that West Ham have stuttered recently, losing their last two Premier League matches. However, this encounter presents an ideal opportunity for them to get back to winning ways. Watford have accrued just two points from their most recent nine top flight games including a 1-4 loss to the Hammers in the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road. Whilst this one is likely to prove a closer affair with the Hornets a tougher outfit defensively, West Ham should still have too much for the visitors and are expected to get back to winning ways in the Premier League. Tip: WEST HAM TO WIN

Arsenal Vs Watford: London Cannon Wins Again, Now Overtakes MU

Run of the Game: Arsenal had scored in the seventh minute through Bukayo Saka. A VAR review annulled the goal, which declared Saka in an offside position when he grabbed the ball from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as Nicolas Nkoulou was the last man in the Watford defense despite Ben Foster's exit. Arsenal were able to penetrate the Watford penalty box several times through short passes. The moment ended without a goal as the Watford defenders quickly made a tackle before the ball was shot by Arsenal players. Until the game runs for half an hour, Watford have not been able to let go of the experiment. The team's efforts made by Claudio Ranieri through counter-attacks ran aground several times when entering the final third of Arsenal's defense. Arsenal were awarded a penalty in the 36th minute after Danny Rose hit Alexandre Lacazette. Aumabeyang stepped up as the executor, but his shot was parried by Ben Foster. Watford released his first attempt in the 39th minute through Juraj Kucka. The Slovakian player's shot was still wide on the right side of Aaron Ramsdale's goal. Ben Foster again made a brilliant save in the 43rd minute. His feet were able to thwart Gabriel Magalhaes' header and the score remained 0-0 until halftime. Arsenal immediately kicked off at the start of the second half. A shot was fired by Albert Sambi Lokonga from outside the penalty box, but the ball was easily caught by Foster. Watford tried to give a threat back in the 53rd minute. Emmanuel Dennis fired from inside the penalty box, but the ball was not yet on goal. Arsenal can finally lead 1-0 in the 56th minute. Ben White tried to penetrate into the penalty box, but was blocked by opposing players and a wild ball was grabbed by Emile Smith Rowe, who slid into the bottom left corner of Foster's goal. Arsenal had scored again. The referee again annulled it because Aubameyang was in an offside position when he poked the ball in front of the goal mouth. Arsenal attack wave continues to increase. Several shots were fired, but none were on target. Watford even had time to almost equalize the score in the 85th minute. Joshua King managed to capitalize on a miscoordinated Arsenal back line and overcame Ramsdale who came out of the box to shoot from a tight angle, but the ball still hit the outside of the net. Watford had to play with 10 men in the 89th minute. Juraj Kucka was given a second yellow card after violating Nuno Tavarez. There are no additional goals on the side of time. Arsenal also won with a score of 1-0. Lineup: Arsenal: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Nuno Tavares, Maitland-Niles, Lokonga, Saka, Smith Rowe, Lacazette, Aubameyang. Watford: Foster, Kiko Femenía, Cathcart, N'Koulou, Rose, Sissoko, Tufan, Kucka, Sarr, Dennis, King.

HIGHLIGHTS | Arsenal vs Watford (1-0) | Premier League | Smith Rowe does it again!

Emile Smith Rowe's second-half goal was enough to give us victory in Mikel Arteta's 100th game in charge. We had to work hard for all three points though, after a missed penalty in the first half and disallowed goals either side of the break. After a minute's silence ahead of Remembrance Sunday next week, we made a promising start at the Emirates. Ainsley Maitland-Niles was the only change to the side that beat Leicester last weekend, replacing the injured Thomas Partey in midfield. And his clever pass to Alexandre Lacazette inside the box led to us having the ball in the net after just seven minutes, but it was ruled out by VAR. Lacazette's lob found Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, from him the ball bobbled to Bukayo Saka, but replays clearly showed his was offside as he stroked home. The game became scrappy for a while after that, with neither side taking control. There were more yellow cards than shots in the opening half hour - two apiece - and it was a foul in the area that gave us a golden opportunity to take the lead. Lacazette was taken out in the box by Danny Rose, only for Aubameyang to see his spot kick saved by Ben Foster, who also gobbled up the rebound. Late in the half Foster also denied Gabriel well with his legs, when the big defender got his head to an inswinging Saka corner. The second half started in similar fashion, with both sides picking up more bookings before we eventually made the breakthrough. Ben White took control, surged forward towards the area before the ball fell to Smith Rowe just outside the box. His low shot found the corner, with Watford players appealing for a foul on Moussa Sissoko. The goal was given though, and Smith Rowe had scored for the third Premier League game running. We had another goal disallowed, when Aubameyang sliding in on the line to get the final touch to a Martin Odegaard shot, but the flag was quickly raised. The frustration was that it appeared as though Odegaard's shot may have gone in without Aubameyang's touch. Watford were not laying down and began to put us under more pressure in the closing stages. There was a real scare when Josh King rounded Ramsdale outside the area, found himself with an open goal but shot into the side netting. Juraj Kucka was sent off late on for the visitors, for a second bookable offence, and then Sambi Lokonga could have sealed it with a piledriver in injury time, but Foster batted it away. 1-0 to the Arsenal it was though, enough to lift us to fifth place before in the international hiatus. #arsenal #smithrowe Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Vivianne Miedema, Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Leah Williamson, Bernd Leno, Emile Smith Rowe, Nikita Parris, Tobin Heath, Mana Iwabuchi, Jordan Nobbs, Bukayo Saka, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Aaron Ramsdale, Beth Mead, Ben White, Thomas Partey and more.
