JEDFOREST'S 31-PHASE TRY v SELKIRK - 6.11.21
Euan Welsh captured the last play of the match between Selkirk and Jedforest at Philiphaugh on Saturday 6th November. The new format for the Sevens at Gala had pools instead of a straight knockout competition for the first time, and the event was an evening tournament - again a first for the event. Jedforest made the final and were looking to lift the trophy for the first time in 91 years - their last five attempts in previous finals were unsuccessful. Meanwhile Heriot's were looking to go one step better than last year when Melrose beat them in the final.
