This Was Supposed To Be A Random Tuesday In The NBA…BUT THEN…

Support by buying my NBA T-Shirts: https://heatcheck.info/ On this random Tuesday, pure chaos took place in the league. We got a bunch of wild endings, led by unlikely heroes. Then superstars going mano a mano in a marquee deathmatch that left us speechless, and a bunch of other crazy stuff that we need to go through. But we gotta start in Chicago. The Timberwolves played their usual brand of basketball and had control of the game the entire time. This 3 pointer made it a 12 point lead. But then, with their backs against the wall, Coby White decided to take matters into his own hands, and try to mount a comeback with effort on both ends. And once he felt that he might have it going we got this… White scored an astonishing 21 points in the fourth quarter to single handedly wipe away the deficit and actually take over the lead. With the game tied, the Bulls had a chance to win the game at the buzzer, buuut this tough shot by Derozan misses so we go to overtime. And Demar made sure he made up for that miss in OT. With 10 points in the overtime period Demar put the Bulls in control of the game. And along with some tough defense Chicago were able to completely turn things around and win this game in dramatic fashion. As if that wasn’t enough drama, the Thunder and the Jazz gave us another chaotic finish. The heavy favorites were clinging to a 1 point lead on the road in a thriller ending. But then, another unlikely hero steps up. The rookie Keyonte George. And with a 4 point lead at the end, now it was time for their top gun to take over and close out the game. The Jazz are continuing to be a land mine for top teams in the league and I love their effort. Moving on to my Knicks where they managed to fumble a 26 point lead in the 4th quarter and brought me close to a heart attack. Let me explain. This was supposed to be a nice and relaxed game. A matchup against the Grizzlies who’ve had so many injuries, that their team turned into a hospital this season. I mean look at the starting 5, I don’t even know half the guys on their team. Then this was a celebration of the 25th anniversary of arguably the greatest duo in NBA broadcasting. Mike Breen and Clyde Fraizer. So everything was great. Reminiscing about old times and the greatest calls while the Knicks were absolutely destroying Memphis. But in the 4th, it seemed like New York took their foot off the gas, for the first time this season. And everything went downhill in the blink of an eye. The lead started to melt, as the crowd and myself became increasingly anxious. And things culminated when… So now it’s tough, this next possession will determine everything for the finish of this game. How will the Knicks respond? Fortunately for myself, they responded like this: New York managed to save this game and made it a double digit win at the end, but the fear with 2 minutes to go was absolutely real. The Suns vs Bucks matchup was held back a bit as Dame sat this one out, and Khris Middleton got injured and left the game early. Still, Giannis was playing like the incredible hulk. 34 points and 10 rebounds for Antetokounmpo as he tried to will his team to the win throughout the entire game. But Phoenix of course have a superhero of their own. And he went chest to chest against the Greek Freak. KD responded with 28 and 10 of his own, but the thing is that the Suns just had too much firepower in this game. 32 points from Devin Booker, and 25 and 10 from Bradley Beal. This would have been a lot even if Giannis had Lillard and Middleton. Playing alone like this, it was mission impossible. Phoenix gets a much needed win to climb up just a hair out of the play in zone at the moment. Next, in Brooklyn Kyrie did something that even shocked Luka Doncic. Actually, Irving did all kinds of crazy things throughout the entire game. Beautiful layups, circus finishes, impossible threes you name it. 36 points and 5 assists on incredible efficiency. But what about Luka? Aaah, he wasn’t too far behind. Doncic dissected the defense methodically time after time on his way to 35 and 18 and 9. Yeah dude got 18 rebounds in this game. Unbelievable. This night was so crazy that even a usually chill guy like Tyrese Haliburton went chirping at Dillon Brooks after icing the game at the end. And best of all is that this madness is only going to continue. Tomorrow is the NBA trade deadline, possibly the most chaotic day of the season. There will be trades that could change everything. And I go in depth on all of those scenarios right here in this video so you gotta check it out. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.

THIS Was The Beginning Of The DOWNFALL For Golden State
THIS Was The Beginning Of The DOWNFALL For Golden State

Support by buying my NBA T-Shirts: https://heatcheck.info/ Last night was insane. First we witnessed the tragic downfall of Golden State. Then we saw possibly the dumbest move of the season by the Brooklyn Nets and a bunch of other crazy moments. But first check this out. This reaction by the rookie GG Jackson is priceless. He was genuinely surprised and happy to be talking to the TNT crew. And boy he deserved the spotlight. The 45th pick in the draft destroyed the Warriors with his three point shooting on the way to a career high 23 points off the bench. But this is the thing that will shock you. Despite getting Draymond Green back, Golden State lost to this starting lineup. Jaren Jackson, Vince Williams, Xavier Tilman, Zaire Williams and Luke Kennard. Wait what?! Memphis is currently running an entire hospital with how many guys they have injured, and the Grizzlies still managed to embarrass the sinking ship of the Warriors. Losing to this team is so bad that it might have been the final nail in the coffin for Golden State. I believe that a big trade is coming for them, and honestly, if your name is not Steph, you may get traded. Moving on to Jacque Vaugn who made a decision so inexplicable that it cost Brooklyn the game. The Heat and the Nets played an intense overtime thriller. And with under a minute to go, the home team had a 4 point lead. Getting this stop would pretty much win it for them, but Tyler Herro saves the game and gives Miami hope. And with Brooklyn unable to score, the Heat all of a sudden have a chance for the lead in the final seconds. So you know who’s got the ball. Now this is the key moment of the game. On the replay you can see that this was a really clean swipe so Jacque Vaugn could have challenged it. But he didn’t want to burn his final time out, and saved it for the final possession. Which is a valid point, and I totally understand. Draw up a nice play and try to win the game. But then Butler makes both free throws and he doesn’t call the time out. He just lets the guys play it out. So of course scrambling without a plan, we got a terrible final possession and they lose the game. I was shocked by this. If you knew that you were going to let them play it out, why not take the challenge then? Why in the world did you save the time out for? Unbelievable. Ok, speaking of unbelievable, Joel Embiid is doing something that’s really out of this world. Last night he scored 41 points in a win against the Rockets and this is how the numbers are looking right now for him. 976 total points so far in 953 minutes on the court. Yeah, this dude is averaging more points than minutes this season which is staggering, and we have never seen something like this in the modern NBA. Now, I gotta phrase it like that because of course the freak of nature that Wilt Chamberlain was, he did it back in his day. But still, Joel is on a rampage right now and it seems that nobody can stop him. Let me fire up a war in the comments by asking you guys who’s your MVP so far. Things are just now heating up because this is possibly my favorite thing from last night. Detroit won another game, let’s gooo. These 2 teams have been beyond horrible this year, but fortunately for them somebody had to win this game and it just so happened to be the Pistons. All credit to Jalen Duren for his monster game of 20 points and 19 rebounds on a perfect 8 for 8 from the field. Absolutely incredible numbers. Now the bad thing is that this is still the worst record in NBA history percentage wise, so if Detroit wants to avoid this infamous title, they’ll need to get hot and win a few more games in the second half of the season. Speaking of that, Dallas got hot at the perfect moment. Down by 7 in the 4th, the Mavs went on a 21-9 run led by Tim Hardaway Jr. This completely turned things around and with a 2 point lead in the final seconds, Dallas had an interesting strategy of intentionally fouling Zion. This worked for them as Zion missed 1 free throw and on the other end Kyrie converted both to give his team a 3 point lead. Funny enough, Dallas didn’t foul on the final possession so the Pelicans ended up with a 3 point look and a chance to tie the game. Both Kyrie and Tim Hardaway Jr had 40 in this win for the Mavs and shoutout to Jr for the great season he’s having, coming off the bench. San Antonio almost did the unthinkable against Atlanta. The Hawks raced off to a 35 point lead at home against Wemby and the Spurs, but then something crazy started to happen… After going scoreless in the first half, Victor went ballistic in the second half scoring 26 points, where he looked unstoppable and the Spurs came all the way back to make it only a 6 point game. This was on the road mind you. The entire arena was stunned. Unfortunately they didn’t have enough to complete the comeback but I love the fight from them, despite the loss.

This Was The WORST Night Of The NBA Season...
This Was The WORST Night Of The NBA Season...

Support by buying my NBA T-Shirts: https://heatcheck.info/ This was the worst day of the NBA season, and I suffered through it so you don’t have to. Let me explain. Let’s start with the most highly anticipated matchup of the day. Milwaukee vs Boston was a TNT game and everyone was hyped about it. That is, until the game started and the Bucks blitzed the Celtics right out of the gate. Milwaukee went on a 25-0 run in just 6 minutes to essentially end the game even before half time. Now, credit to them, and you could see Giannis was fired up for this game, after losing the first matchup earlier in the season, and he brought the intensity for this one right from tip off. But you could also see the Celtics were a step slower, a bit lackadaisical even- almost as if they weren’t ready for this game. They did come to Milwaukee on a back to back after a tough overtime win the previous night against Minnesota, so I’m not sure if that played a role, but this was embarrassing nonetheless. The 35 point deficit at half time was so bad that Joe Mazzula did not even play the starters in the second. And TNT made a decision in the middle of this game to switch the broadcast to the Knicks and the Mavs, which at the time was just slightly less terrible. Let me actually save this game for last because believe it or not it was the most interesting one of the night. You heard EJ say how bad things were in OKC. And as crazy as it sounds, by the end it got 2 times worse. The Thunder had a field day against Portland, just look at these stats: SGA shot 11 for 15 that’s 73%, Chet Holmgren was 9 for 13, 69%, Jaylen Williams went 9 for 10 and Giddey was a perfect 5 for 5 from the field. Unbelievable. So, by the end this was a 62 point win for Oklahoma. 62. Wooow. I had hopes that maybe the Lakers and Suns would save the day in the second game of the TNT doubleheader, but Devin Booker came out absolutely on fire with 16 points in the first quarter hitting all types of shots. The Lakers actually shot the ball well at the start, 52 and a half percent from the field in that first quarter but they had 5 turnovers which Phoenix of course punished. So this was already a double digit lead. Turning the ball over 9 times by halftime, and giving up 9 offensive rebounds is a recipe for disaster, and you could even say that the Lakers were lucky to only be down by 14 at the break. But then came the third quarter and… A 16-2 run in 3 and a half minutes ballooned the lead to 28 and that’s pretty much all there was to it in this game. Yet another blowout. A game between the Cavs and the Nets in Paris deserves only a quick recap honestly. Donovan Mitchell was blistering hot scoring 45 points on 50% shooting. Cleveland got off to a 27 point lead, because of course they did it, was that type of day in the league. By the end however Brooklyn made it a decent 9 point loss. Ok, let’s now go to the most interesting game of the bunch. A 20 point blowout in the fourth quarter. Wait what?! Yeah my Knicks got destroyed throughout the entire game by Kyrie who finished with 44 points. But just watch what happens. The Knicks are slowly but surely cutting into this lead, however it’s still a 10 point game with 2:45 to go. But then… Oh my god we’re back, let’s go Knicks! All we gotta do now is just get 1 stop. Little did I know that what would follow is pure chaos. Are you kidding me?! Maaan this was tough. I love the effort from this team tho, to even come back in this game. Plus, this was the only exciting moment in the worst NBA day of the season. This was the complete opposite from yesterday where I showed you a bunch of wild thriller endings in overtime. You gotta check out this video right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
